Admiral 5000mAh 6S 50C LiPo Battery with EC5 Connector

Motion RC looked far and wide to find a LiPo battery pack with a decent price, reasonably low internal resistance, and the power to help your planes perform their best. We've tested these batteries in all our planes and had great results.

  1. Best bang for the buck.

Posted by Xviper on 22nd Aug 2014

I have used many other different brands of 5000mah, 6s batteries and this one ranks right up there with the best performing ones. It also happens to be the lowest priced one. I cycled it (charge/discharge) 3 times before using it in my plane. I will buy these Admirals again in other sizes as I need them.

  2. Good battery for the Price

Posted by Richard Driftmyer CMSgt USAF Ret on 20th Aug 2014

I purchased this battery for my Stinger 9() and I am very happy with it. It stays cool even at high power settings and when I checked internal cell resistance I found that no cell exceeded 2 milliohms equelling or exceeding TP at half the price.

  3. Good value. Puffed when held wide open

Posted by Keith Johns on 18th Jul 2014

    For $100 it's a great value.
But mine puffed after about 6 flights in my Me262.
I have a Pulse battery with a lower C rating that didn't puff.

Battery still seems to work fine. Maybe some loss in power/flight time. But I still use it.

Hesitant to buy another one unless I can be assured it won't happen again, or it will be replaced no questions asked. It happened after a flight that was pretty heavy on the throttle, but the "lesser" pack holds up fine. I say "lesser" but the Pulse battery was much more expensive... Just has alert C rating and Mah(4500/45c).

I'll contact support about it and if I get some sort of assurance or replacement promise I'll be buying a couple more.

Need $1000 worth of batteries to go fly for an hour! They take me 2 hours to charge/balance and I get 3 minutes of flight time in this twin EDf jet.

By the way, in all fairness, this pack in a normal plane would have no problems. I'm running it in probably the highest stress situation possible. Twin 70mm EDF kept WOT half the time.

    Again, good value.

  4. Best Jets on the market

II really do love this battery, puts out a lot of power more than enough for this jet.

  5. Pleased with the power not the connectors

Posted by Howard Leipzig on 28th Jan 2014

I ordered this along with a few other brands that are 60C & 65C for my Yak 130. I've flown this pack only 3 times but there is very little noticable difference in how this 50c performs compared to the higher C batteries (with higher prices). It is lighter though and since I have my other batteries as far forward as they will go, I had to add lead stick on weights to the Admiral lipo in order to keep the cg correct. SO far so good and no puffing!
I would have given this a 4 Star rating except that the battery connectors don't seem to match anything I own and it was easier to replace them than to make a special adapter.

  6. HAVE NOT USED IT YET...

Posted by KARL on 9th Jan 2014

BATTERY COULD BE PACKAGED BETTER. IT CAME WITH A COUPLE OF SMALL DINGS ON ONE SIDE LIKE THIS PHOTO. I'M JUST STARTING TO PUT TOGETHER THE ME 262 WITCH THIS BATTERY IS FOR. MAY BE A WHILE, BECAUSE I FOUND ONE OF EDF FAN BLADES HAS A COUPLE NICKS IN IT. NOT SURE HOW TO HANDLE IT YET.

  7. Great Battery

Posted by Bruce Odom on 19th Dec 2013

This is a Great Quality Battery pack from Motion Rc.
All the cells are even during and after charge. Great flight times in my Stinger 90. Motion is the Best!!!

  8. great battery!

Posted by Unknown on 25th Nov 2013

Love This battery. Its still going strong after 9 flights on my su-35. No puffing what soever. The only thing I did not like was the battery ends. I could not find adapters for it so I had to solder my on Ec5s on.

  9. Accurate discharge rating!

Posted by Hifly on 22nd Nov 2013

Finally, a battery with an accurate discharge c rating which doesn't cost a crazy amount. This is the cheapest 6s 5000 high C battery I could find in the US. Free shipping is nice. The big bullet connectors are nice and they give a good grip with the plastic sheath. I have flown lots of 6s batteries in EDFs and this battery lasts the longest by a long shot. I have over 120 flights on my batteries and they are till going strong. Noticeable power increase over my Turnigy nano batteries.

  10. great battery on first test

Posted by Dave Gianakos on 13th Nov 2013

Used this battery only one time so far. Flew my 1700mm Corsair for about 5-6 minutes for its maiden flight. Didn't work the plane too hard on this maiden, but when we landed we had 67% battery left. Charges well, no problems noted.

  11. great battery!

Posted by curtis chambers on 10th Nov 2013

I was looking for a battery to replace hobby part's ski lipo and this battery far exceeds my expectations. I have not had one puff yet.

  12. True 50c discharge!

Posted by Unknown on 18th Jul 2013

I've been flying these packs in a 90mm EDF, and after 12 flights they are clearly holding voltage better than the HK batteries I normally buy. I can fly for maybe 30 seconds longer, too. The same low IR as my lipos from GensAce and Thunder Power.
