Admiral 5000mAh 6S 22.2V 50C LiPo Battery With EC5 Connector

Admiral 5000mAh 6S 50C LiPo Battery with EC5 Connector

Motion RC looked far and wide to find a LiPo battery pack with a decent price, reasonably low internal resistance, and the power to help your planes perform their best. We've tested these batteries in all our planes and had great results.

  1. Outperforms the other guys!

Posted by Tom on 26th Feb 2015

My Stinger 90 flies okay on other more expensive batteries, but this battery makes it perform like it was intended. A noticeable and exciting difference!

  2. The best Lipo by comparison

Posted by Mark Marshall on 26th Feb 2015

I initially had this battery in mind before I purchased my plane, but I looked on all the other websites to find one comparable. In order of quality, cost, and delivery, this is by far the best 6s battery you can find.
It was ordered on Monday, and delivered by Wednesday. Motion RC excels in customer support!

  3. Admiral 5000mah 6s lipo review

Posted by Ricky Thrower on 1st Jan 2015

For the size, weight, EC5 connector and performance you can't go wrong. I've been using this battery in all my large scale freewing jets for about a year now and never letting them go below 30 percent discharge, I've been having great success. I also use Gens ace 4800 6cell 60c-120c and the admiral 5000 6cell 50c give's a little more performance maybe because of weight, But all in all.. Great battery

  4. Quality Pack

Posted by Unknown on 3rd Dec 2014

Run two of these in my E700 rapor on 12s. Run 4.5 minutes with 90% throttle. Fly hard 3D. Pack have about 40% left after flight. Good packs for the price

  5. Wondering if I should risk my plane with these...

Posted by Tom S on 2nd Dec 2014

With MotionRC's reputation, I thought I'd give these batteries a try for my 80mm EDF. I purchased 2, and when they arrived I did a voltage check. One of the batteries caused the imbalance warning in my checker to go off. I decided to cycle both batteries on my charger and see what comes of it. After charging at a 1C rate, the same battery charged cell voltages ranged from 4.14 through 4.18, still causing my imbalance warning to alert. The other battery cell voltages were from 4.18 to 4.2, which seems OK. I'll cycle them on the charger once more, and if that first one is still acting like that, I will contact MRC and see what they think.

  6. Admiral 5000 mAh Lipo

Awesome Lipo, happy to see that the Dean connectors were already soldered!

  7. Short flights

Posted by Unknown on 2nd Oct 2014

I flew it in a Freewing Stinger 90 they said it would fly 4 min. I flew 3 min. checked pack it had 16 % left and I was not flying full throttle

  8. Admiral

Posted by Ric on 30th Sep 2014

The battery works well in the Stinger 90. It is a little warm after a full flight at mostly full throttle but not hot. It fits well in the airplane and the connectors also are easy to unplug and plug in. The only problem I have with them is the charge current is limited to about 2.2 amps and it take a while to recharge them.

  9. Weight vs mah

Posted by terry smotherman on 10th Sep 2014

First admiral battery and very impressed so far. I like that's its fairly light at 26.5 oz for 50c 5000mah battery

  10. I LOVE this lipo!

Posted by Unknown on 5th Sep 2014

I was a HK person, good price and good quality, but now I am Admiral LIPO guy, good price, comparable to HK, but the quality is better, have 5 flights on a 6 cell 5000mah and the performance is great and no puffy pack on hard 3D

Buy this LIPO, BUY United States!!

  11. Best bang for the buck.

Posted by Xviper on 22nd Aug 2014

I have used many other different brands of 5000mah, 6s batteries and this one ranks right up there with the best performing ones. It also happens to be the lowest priced one. I cycled it (charge/discharge) 3 times before using it in my plane. I will buy these Admirals again in other sizes as I need them.

  12. Good battery for the Price

Posted by Richard Driftmyer CMSgt USAF Ret on 20th Aug 2014

I purchased this battery for my Stinger 9() and I am very happy with it. It stays cool even at high power settings and when I checked internal cell resistance I found that no cell exceeded 2 milliohms equelling or exceeding TP at half the price.

  13. Good value. Puffed when held wide open

Posted by Keith Johns on 18th Jul 2014

    For $100 it's a great value.
But mine puffed after about 6 flights in my Me262.
I have a Pulse battery with a lower C rating that didn't puff.

Battery still seems to work fine. Maybe some loss in power/flight time. But I still use it.

Hesitant to buy another one unless I can be assured it won't happen again, or it will be replaced no questions asked. It happened after a flight that was pretty heavy on the throttle, but the "lesser" pack holds up fine. I say "lesser" but the Pulse battery was much more expensive... Just has alert C rating and Mah(4500/45c).

I'll contact support about it and if I get some sort of assurance or replacement promise I'll be buying a couple more.

Need $1000 worth of batteries to go fly for an hour! They take me 2 hours to charge/balance and I get 3 minutes of flight time in this twin EDf jet.

By the way, in all fairness, this pack in a normal plane would have no problems. I'm running it in probably the highest stress situation possible. Twin 70mm EDF kept WOT half the time.

    Again, good value.

  14. Best Jets on the market

Posted by anthony brown on 7th Jul 2014

II really do love this battery, puts out a lot of power more than enough for this jet.

  15. Pleased with the power not the connectors

Posted by Howard Leipzig on 28th Jan 2014

I ordered this along with a few other brands that are 60C & 65C for my Yak 130. I've flown this pack only 3 times but there is very little noticable difference in how this 50c performs compared to the higher C batteries (with higher prices). It is lighter though and since I have my other batteries as far forward as they will go, I had to add lead stick on weights to the Admiral lipo in order to keep the cg correct. SO far so good and no puffing!
I would have given this a 4 Star rating except that the battery connectors don't seem to match anything I own and it was easier to replace them than to make a special adapter.
