FMS Beaver 2000mm (78") Wingspan - PNP
78" wingspan FMS Beaver Plug-N-Play - (PNP) - FMM090P
One of the things we have learned in this hobby is that there are a large number of RC pilots who love to fly giant scale aircraft. FMS has listened to this feedback and has answered the call with this fantastic new Beaver float plane with a whopping 78" wingspan!
The Beaver comes with standard landing gear. Floats are optional so you can enjoy flying this giant airplane on both water and land. The wing comes with vortex generators to help improve lift and reduce stalls. The wing has a specialized pin connector that makes taking the wing off or putting it on a breeze. No messy servo leads to connect and disconnect so transporting this giant scale aircraft to and from your flying location is remarkably easy and convenient.
This FMS 2000mm Beaver also comes with LED lights so your flying adventures can occur from early dawn to dusk and beyond. If you enjoy large scale airplanes, this Beaver impresses both on land and water.

An impressing model
The model was very well packed. The completion can be realized in a few minutes. Since many had a problem with a deformed cowling, I immediately reinforced it with glass fever. The cowling is now very stable and will not deform when exposed to sunlight. I fly the model with both versions (float and wheel). I also installed the MrRCSound ASPIRE sound system. So I fly with realistic engine sound. I use a 6S-5000 - 70C Lipo with which I can fly 10 - 12 minutes. In the model there is also room for even bigger lipos. The ****** flies like on rails and the take-offs and landings as well as deep slow passes are your pleasure. The only negative thing I find is the small aileron movement which makes the rolls very slow. The ****** is even not an aerobatic model. All in all the FMS ****** is a very impressing and easy for relax flying model, which is funny for beginners as well as for experts.
The big ******
The plane is very good I like it
Great plane But.
I love this plane. I put 6" tundra tires on her and man what a blast. The only thing is the cowling. It warps in the sun. I transported the plane in the back of my truck for a 30minute ride to the field. By the time I got to the field the cowl was warped by the sun. This is the second cowling and I just ordered 2 more. THis is the only problem I have had.
This is my 2nd ****** and the quality is basically the same. The cowl and fake engine are as flimsy as before, and mine came with the rudder servo extension duryed in the fuse. Had to use the coat hanger technique, pull it back out and tape it to the tip of the wire and run it all the way back. Rudder and elevator seemed ok but added tape to it anyway. I'm using the same receiver as in the last one so no issues. Will maiden soon but expect it to be smooth. I am using 5 Duro wheels and she very rarely bounces at all
Nice Plane-Assembly Review
Easy assembly and designed to be that way. Details are many and look good. No maiden on this one yet. More to come.
Yes today 07/30/18, 8 months after I maidened my FMS ****** I reached 100 flights. Except for minor quality control issues at the beginning this plane has been great. I have been flying for many many years and this has become one of my favorite planes. I highly recommend this plane for training new pilots and for experienced pilots to have a break from the stress and enjoy some leisurely fun flying. Get yourself one, you won't be sorry. I recommend changing the axels and replacing the rudder and elevator foam hinges immediately.

Great plane well built love it
Great looking bush plane!
Very easy to assemble. Have only flown twice off the runway . Nice solid Very predictable, solid flying airplane. With its size and color scheme it’s also very easy to see. Very little trim was needed on the maiden flight. Looks good in the air. Only complaint is the thin foam hinges. I’ll be adding some hinge tape to strengthen. On approach for second landing the elevator did glitch on approach. Like down elevator. Was able to compensate quickly. Not sure was my radio or the electronics box in the ******. Never happened on my other airplanes.
Plane flies decent. Touch and goes are fun, and aerobatics are limited, but fun as well. Issues lay in the electronics. Random control surfaces do what they want in flight. Rudder being one on take off almost resulting to a crash. Flaps and ailerons will go full deflection at any time with no input, thats a single surface by itself. If you buy one, trash the factory electonics and run a regular rx setup.
