Great plane

The Sbac is a wonderful flying plane! It actually made me look like I know what I'm doing! Tracks well and slows down really nice. I've never had a plane flat spin so slowly! Landings are a breeze and she has plenty of power when you pour on the coals! Now.. that being said. I have only a few gripes. Upon arrival, everything was well packaged and undamaged. As far as chips, dents and cracks go. However, the box must have sat in the sun for some time for the internal temps to get to the point that the horizontal stabilizer was so warped that it was unusable! I had to purchase another stab and hope that it hadn't received the same treatment. Luckily it was straight and true. The rudder had a slight curve, which was easily removed. Everything else was ok. The paint is a 5 out of 10 for me. The stencils they used must have lifted and none of the lines are crisp and or unbroken. Which sucks because its a very attractive paint scheme. I might repaint it later for aesthetics sake. But don't let the 3 stars keep you from buying it. After I replaced what I needed to... Which, nobody should have to. I am very pleased! And I'm not placing blame or pointing fingers anywhere. Who knows where the heat damaged occurred.

Really poor quality

Received the Sbach and upon opening the box discovered the wings and horizontal stab severely warped, emailed customer service with pictures and was told mine was much better than most they sell and all replacement parts in their warehouse would be worse,(which means if I need replacement parts they will be bad ) this from a company who advertises " quality products". I was told to ship it back ( @ my expense) or use hot water to straighten the parts, I chose to straiten the parts as suggested but they just warped back in an hour or so, I had to insert carbon flatstock into all wing surfaces ( and alot of it) but did get things straight, then while setting up control throws an aileron servo locked up, the elevator servo would not center so I changed all servos. The maiden flight was an event due to the stated CG being almost an inch off, control throws were barley enough to fly and I have since doubled them. On the third flight the canopy magnets pulled out of the fuse so it went flying and must have hit the rudder whose hinges seperated . After those repairs with it still not flying right I found the motor thrust angle to be 7 degrees down! Almost double the max recommended thrust for even a trainer. Haven't flown it since changing thrust angle. I have since found others on the forums with similar problems with this kit. Since Motion contacted me to review this I felt I should, I have never had any issues with Motion or their products but will think twice after this, I feel since they know these Dynam kits are bad the customer service should have been better and they should not be selling them at any price.

Very poor quality product. Read previous reviews, I wish I had.

Warped control surfaces out of the box. poor quality components. inadequate hinge points. odd flight characteristics when you do get it flying which I will assume is due to the warped surfaces that you can never get completely corrected. I am amazed how many gave it good reviews while stating how bad it was out of the box. stay clear of this one.

You get what you pay for.

I have been a MRC customer for several years now. I have ordered numerous aircraft from them. They are top notch in all departments. But then, I ordered the Dynum Sbach 342. They provided the aircraft as requested. They did a good job. The thing is that Dynum was apparently out to lunch when product quality was discussed. The plane went together. Not easily, just together. It was missing unmarked screws, parts did not line up, and the paint peeled off just by looking at it. I tried to finish it until it came time for the controls to be connected. The connectors had no back plates. Apparently the QG person was out snacking instead of verifiying kit contents. I don't hold MRC guilty. I'll just get a control horn and fix it. I only hold a question to MRC. Why do you distribute such poor quality products from such a poor service related company? All I know is that I've been a long time customer, I should receive what I payed for.

Dynam SBach342

I’ve owned four of these over several years. I virtually learned RC flying with my second one (you can guess what happened to the first one) It’s a great stunt plane but you Must modify several aspects of the plane if you want it to survive! The most important is the main landing gear mounting! I epoxy two ply blocks inside, directly in line with the mounting holes...then, I use #6 wood screws to mount the landing gear! Anything less and a less than perfect landing will rip the landing gear right out! I also install a sliding latch on top of the fuse where the canopy ends( at the top) and epoxy a mating piece of thin ply to the back of the canopy (remove the small magnet...it’s useless!) with a hole that engages the latch pin! If you don’t reinforce the canopy retention system, make sure you put your name and telephone number inside the canopy...it’ll come in handy when it flys off at the farthest corner of your flight! Check the hinging of the control surfaces..my rudder simply fell off when I was connecting the control arm! Great acrobatic plane once you fix the weak points!

Dynam Sbach 342 1250mm

The product obviously was not test by the factory before shipping. Two servo motors had to be replaced and wire connector had to be fixed. Instructions were poorly done. Technical phone support was excellent and replacement of servo motors was quick. Once in air the model performed very good.

packed great

I just unpacked my Sbach and it was in perfect condition. Each item was in a its' own box. I wonder if this is a new way packing after seeing all the reviews stating items were damaged during shipping.

Meh

Both aileron servos where stripped out on arrival, swapped them out with FMS servos. The landing gear ripped out on maiden as others had mentioned. There is a lot of flex in fuse and wing areas. One of the screws for tail was not long enough to reach the threaded area. My first and last Dynam :/

Sbach 1250

Nice looking plane always wanted one very easy to determine which way you going with the black bottom there is a couple things tho just like the other reviews the tail was bent out of box and the Canopy will fly off if you get a little crazy magnets are weak would recommend a latch for it and if you leave it in the sun the black in the canopy we’ll separate and it will look like a white spider web lol the only way I now how to explain it but other then that she fly’s great went together with no problem cg is right on and I fly it with a 2700 mha battery after 6 minutes still have 70 percent battery and the power is great also just know you may have to tweak a few things but for the price I think it’s a great plane
