You get what you pay for.
I have been a MRC customer for several years now. I have ordered numerous aircraft from them. They are top notch in all departments. But then, I ordered the Dynum Sbach 342. They provided the aircraft as requested. They did a good job. The thing is that Dynum was apparently out to lunch when product quality was discussed. The plane went together. Not easily, just together. It was missing unmarked screws, parts did not line up, and the paint peeled off just by looking at it. I tried to finish it until it came time for the controls to be connected. The connectors had no back plates. Apparently the QG person was out snacking instead of verifiying kit contents. I don't hold MRC guilty. I'll just get a control horn and fix it. I only hold a question to MRC. Why do you distribute such poor quality products from such a poor service related company? All I know is that I've been a long time customer, I should receive what I payed for.
I’ve owned four of these over several years. I virtually learned RC flying with my second one (you can guess what happened to the first one) It’s a great stunt plane but you Must modify several aspects of the plane if you want it to survive! The most important is the main landing gear mounting! I epoxy two ply blocks inside, directly in line with the mounting holes...then, I use #6 wood screws to mount the landing gear! Anything less and a less than perfect landing will rip the landing gear right out! I also install a sliding latch on top of the fuse where the canopy ends( at the top) and epoxy a mating piece of thin ply to the back of the canopy (remove the small magnet...it’s useless!) with a hole that engages the latch pin! If you don’t reinforce the canopy retention system, make sure you put your name and telephone number inside the canopy...it’ll come in handy when it flys off at the farthest corner of your flight! Check the hinging of the control surfaces..my rudder simply fell off when I was connecting the control arm! Great acrobatic plane once you fix the weak points!
Dynam Sbach 342 1250mm
The product obviously was not test by the factory before shipping. Two servo motors had to be replaced and wire connector had to be fixed. Instructions were poorly done. Technical phone support was excellent and replacement of servo motors was quick. Once in air the model performed very good.
I just unpacked my Sbach and it was in perfect condition. Each item was in a its' own box. I wonder if this is a new way packing after seeing all the reviews stating items were damaged during shipping.
Both aileron servos where stripped out on arrival, swapped them out with FMS servos. The landing gear ripped out on maiden as others had mentioned. There is a lot of flex in fuse and wing areas. One of the screws for tail was not long enough to reach the threaded area. My first and last Dynam :/
Nice looking plane always wanted one very easy to determine which way you going with the black bottom there is a couple things tho just like the other reviews the tail was bent out of box and the Canopy will fly off if you get a little crazy magnets are weak would recommend a latch for it and if you leave it in the sun the black in the canopy we’ll separate and it will look like a white spider web lol the only way I now how to explain it but other then that she fly’s great went together with no problem cg is right on and I fly it with a 2700 mha battery after 6 minutes still have 70 percent battery and the power is great also just know you may have to tweak a few things but for the price I think it’s a great plane
Wind and stabillizer
Hi guys im happy with the model Sbach 342 1250 Only problem the wings and stabillizer where bend not to pretty Coming out of the box I did fix it carefully no to crush the integrity of the foam definitely softer now i ad clear packing tape Over a flat table both sides and now they are good Im a lazy scrach modeler for 45 years and now have no time to glue sticks volkets longerons and ribs ect jajaja.. Canopy will not stay on.
Canopy will not stay on. . .Needs lots of mixing on point rolls. . . requires almost full UP elevator trim to fly level, . . both props were so far out of balance, they could not be balanced. . . spinner did not run true. . . there is nothing holding the motor mount in but a friction fit, it had to be glued in. . . but it looks good, and lands well!
handles and flies great plenty of power
