The UH-1N Twin Huey is a twin-engine variant of the iconic Huey helicopter family, first flown in 1969. Known for its dependability and utility, the full-scale UH-1N features a 15-seat configuration, with space for one pilot and fourteen passengers. This 600-size Rescue Version from Roban is a scale fuselage kit designed to transform your Chaos 600 or T-Rex 600ESP (torque tube version) into a remarkably accurate RC replica of the real aircraft.
What sets this kit apart is its smart design and engineering. It includes a raised 45-degree tail gearbox that perfectly matches the UH-1N’s unique profile, while allowing a direct and simple installation into compatible mechanics. The custom-designed side frames serve two key purposes: they lower the transmission so the torque tube can pass cleanly through the lower tail boom, and they reposition the entire mechanical system into the doghouse—just like in the full-scale helicopter. This eliminates the common problem of visible mechanics filling the fuselage and blocking space for interior scale details.
Because of this clever layout, the fuselage remains open and uncluttered, providing ample room for cockpit components, rear seating, and scale accessories. Most of the structural work is completed at the factory, including installed woodwork and pre-drilled mounting points for the landing gear.
As a two-blade helicopter, the UH-1N requires no major changes to your existing 600-size mechanics. If your heli is already flying well, you’ll be able to drop it into this fuselage with minimal adjustment. A typical setup includes an 1100Kv brushless outrunner motor, 80 to 100 amp ESC, and a 6S 22.2V 5000mAh or larger LiPo battery.
This conversion kit is intended for intermediate to advanced builders and can typically be completed in just 4 to 6 hours. With its authentic design and thoughtful engineering, the Roban UH-1N delivers the unmistakable look and presence of a true rescue workhorse.

Optional:
Roban Scale Helicopters are intended for modelers who have advanced level building skills. Both ARF and KIT product formats require you to install your own electronics (ESC, servos, motor, etc). KIT product formats also require you to install your own helicopter mechanics. Because helicopter mechanics can vary greatly in size and shape, you may be required to modify the fuselage slightly (including cutting, drilling, etc.) to achieve a perfect fit. Roban fuselages are all handmade from fiberglass and therefore may have slight variation in tolerances between body panels, doors, or windows. These variations do not affect flight performance and can be easily adjusted by an experienced builder with proper tools. These precautions are intended for novice builders; an experienced modeler should have no issue achieving perfect results with these premiere scale helicopters kits.
