BALANCED 12 blader?
In a model of this caliber, and cost, one shouldn't even consider not first doing their own balancing, or at least checking for balance!! Time, and money would be well-spent in doing so! Just sayin'. "Good Vibrations" is a song, but in EDF's, it's an OXYMORON, LOL!
Does not come balanced but easy install nonetheless!
I've purchased this EDF shroud unit for inrunner motors as an upgrade for my 80mm Super Scorpion. The fan blades that came with the unit was not balanced and created relatively minor vibrations at around 50% throttle. I didn't want to go full power since I would risk bending the motor shaft. So an easy fix for this issue was using the old blade setup from my previous EDF unit that came with the aircraft since it was already balanced from factory. Bolted the old fan blades onto my new EDF unit and it performed flawlessly on all power settings.
Great 80mm Fan Unit!
I installed this in my Eflite Habu X with the paired 1750kv inrunner motor. Used a Castle 160HVf ESC on 7s. Really performs well. Fast and smooth, no vibrations!
