Dynam B-26 Marauder 1500mm (59") Wingspan - PNP - DY8972PNP
The Martin B-26 Marauder was one of the most successful Allied bombers of World War II. After a challenging introduction, the B-26 eventually became beloved for its exceptional durability and excellent medium bomber capabilities. Nicknamed the “Flying Torpedo”, the B-26 Marauder ended the war with the lowest combat loss rate of any American aircraft, bringing thousands of aviators safely home.
Dynam’s 1500mm wingspan B-26 Marauder brings the familiar scale outline of this iconic aircraft to the skies again! The aircraft is Dynam’s most ambitious warbird to date, introducing redesigned tricycle retracts for improved reliability and all new counter rotating propellers for scale appearance. To maximize convenient assembly and transport, the B-26’s outer wings can be detached from the engine nacelles, or the entire wing can be removed as one single piece. Major assembly of the aircraft is completed with only ten screws! For a large aircraft its size, the Dynam B-26 can be made very portable to fit in a small car’s trunk in under three minutes.
The aircraft is optimized for a 4s 4000 battery for extended flight time and a good balance of thrust, wing loading, and flight duration. A large battery hatch provides plenty of space for a receiver or optional gyro. Flaps shorten takeoffs and reduce landing speeds, and the tall rudder has excellent authority. Power is provided by two Detrum 3512-650kV brushless motors for satisfying sport scale performance. The two Skylord 40A ESCs are mounted behind each motor for ideal cooling and the counter-rotating 10.5x8 propellers enhance the scale fidelity of the aircraft. Providing capable handling on short grass runways, in addition to the redesigned retracts the Dynam B-26 Marauder also features steel wire struts and soft scale sized foam rubber tires.
Model aircraft from Dynam make excellent cost effective platforms for personalization and detailing, and this B-26 continues that tradition. The canopy and nose covers are easily removed for detailing inside by ambitious modelers. There is even space in the belly if pilots want to add their own bomb bay door. We are also proud to partner with www.Callie-Graphics.com for a wide lineup of optional decal sets to help customize your Dynam B-26 with several other liveries representing aircraft from both the Pacific and European theaters of World War II. With Dynam and your imagination, the sky isn’t the limit, it’s just the beginning!

Only issue I had with mine is the factory miss glued the fuselage parts together and there is a small gap on the right hand side of the airplane.. really doesn’t bother me much but I wish they would take more time on assembly And what is up with the hard wheels all the time Every airplane I have gotten from Motion RC or any other RC company the landing gear wheels are always hard as a rock Solution Dave Brown squishy wheels
Ed A doesn’t even own this model. He just doesn’t like Dynam “Airlines “ as he put it. Why is he allowed to post his assumptions? I do own this airplane and it flys great! If you’re having trouble putting it together then this model is above your skill set. You can’t come into this hobby blind, to do it right there is a steep learning curve!
Easy to assemble but takes out props very easily, and stalls very quickly! Better fly with a gyro!
No issues, good deal
I already had this plane and bought a second one as spare. The plane came without defects and everything working fine. Thank Motion
Dynam B-26 Dec 2018
I recently purchased this Dynam B-26. Going over the airplane I noticed a lot of poor fitting foam where the wings attach. The flaps were not glued and hanging loose. The gear was iffy and sometimes would go down and other times not work at all. I had to take the center wing off and reconnect all the servo connectors. The gear is still no reliable to release or retract. The wiring labels had all fallen off their respective wires so I had to trial and error and relabel. The wing tip attachments were not well fitted and the wiring into the wings was not easy. The decals were old school where you have to soak in water and extremely careful not to tear the decals when applying. A real pain. The rats nest of wiring is also a mess and makes attaching the canopy difficult. I have not yet been able to test fly the plane with all the problems.
good looking kit
bought this dynam B26 for its size & twin engine power.. plan to repair & upgrade as needed... not impressed with how dynam packs and wraps there planes.. aliron & flaps need to be reglued/repaired, the tail weight was loose an rattling inside, the tags IDing the wires were all unattached inside, the plastic guns on the tail are broken.. all this is minor to me .. dynams quallty standards is not impressive... Motion RC ships quickly with good tracking info.. with a good track record of support when requested.. I look forward to my next purchase from Motion RC.. just not dynam...
great good to deal with
Sloppy and poor fitting.
MISSES 1. Top wing cover/hatch: Had to remount nearly all the magnets to get the hatch to seat properly. Front magnets so out of alignment, it was actually creating a gap in the hatch. The magnets on the wing were sticking up so high, they prevented the hatch from seating properly. Rear magnet on fuse was not even close to center. pulled hatch to one side in the back. 2. Machine guns in the back just floating around, with no instructions on how they should be mounted. 3. Had to remove some foam from inner part where wing panels mount. center piece was sticking out ~ 1-2mm further that the rest of the wing base, preventing the ability to get the wing tips pushed on far enough to get the screws in in and no large gap between the inner and outer wing pieces. 4. Lights. Why add a light controller when you don't have Nav lights? 5. Instructions are severely lacking; as usual. HITS 1. Tail assembly has good fit, and is possibly the easiest to install. 2. ++++++ for the counter rotating prop adapter be properly reverse threaded !!! Finally, someone gets it right. 3. Flaps. four panels, fowler-like flaps are very good. 4. Price point. 5. Rare modeled aircraft. OVERALL 1. The low price point and rarity is why I purchased this model. At this price point, you shouldn't expect too much. but some things are pretty good. 2. Good throw together and just fly it model, for little effort. You're really not going to find as much **** for the buck on a multi-engine warbird as this model.
Thank you for your Candor
This model must really be true to Scale. As I recall, this plane was a real hand-full in WWII and earned the nickname "The Widow Maker" from those that survived trying to fly it. To those that wrote glowing reviews, you must be very good rc pilots and have a lot of luck. To the majority of you that wrote highly critical reviews, thank you for your honesty and candor. You saved me from buying a less than quality produce. I believe that I will shy away from Dynam airlanes. MotionRC, thanks for being willing to share such negative views on a produce you are marketing. You have plenty of other fine products. ED
