Freewing 6S Hawk T1 “Red Arrow” 70mm EDF Jet - PNP
6S Hawk T1 “Red Arrow” 70mm EDF Jet - PNP from Freewing - FJ21411P
Perhaps the most versatile British advanced trainer jet in the world, the BAe Hawk has been in service for over 40 years. Operated at its peak by 18 countries in various trainer and light combat roles, the Hawk T1 variant was also popularized by the Red Arrows display team, whose expert piloting demonstrations have amazed audiences worldwide for generations.
Freewing and Motion RC are proud to present this well-loved aircraft as a 70mm EDF powered electric flying model. The Freewing 70mm Hawk T1 features a powerful 12 bladed EDF power system for satisfying speed, vertical performance, and realistic sound, and gives sport jet handling similar to the Avanti and Stinger 90. Since the T-45 is a modified version of the BAe Hawk, we scaled down our Freewing 90mm T-45 Hawk from 2015 then reworked it to be simpler, faster, and with a lighter wing loading with superior all around handling.
With your supplied 6Ss 2700mAh-4000mAh LiPo battery, the 6S power system can achieve a top speed of approximately 160kph / 100mph. Retractable landing gear, flaps, and a wide gear stance make the aircraft well suited for beginner to intermediate jet pilots flying off of pavement or very well manicured grass runways. An optional suspension strut set is available if more shock absorption is desired. A large battery bay provides easy access to your battery, receiver, and an optional gyro stabilizer.
To enhance visibility, the Freewing 70mm Hawk T1 also features the signature bright white nose light of the real aircraft, and sports bright red and green wingtip lights as well. This is the only Freewing 70mm Class aircraft to include pre-installed lighting!
Building upon the popularity of the Freewing 70mm F-16, the Freewing 70mm Hawk T1 adds the new feature of LED lighting and the benefit of a wider wing and wider gear stance than the F-16. Overall, the Hawk makes a perfect “first 70mm EDF”, and its common size 6S 4000mAh battery can be used in many other aircraft. Stable and predictable at both slow and high speeds, the Freewing Hawk T1 cruises confidently at 50% throttle, giving pilots time to enjoy the profile of this iconic jet as it flies by. We also love this Hawk because it flies like a smaller Freewing Avanti –one of the world’s most popular foam EDFs! With a similar planform as the Avanti, proficient pilots can push the Hawk to perform many acrobatic maneuvers with precision and confidence. We have found the Freewing Hawk T1 to be “a sport jet that looks like a scale jet”!
Celebrating the Red Arrows Demonstration Team’s approach to 40 years of service using their BAe Hawk T1s, the Freewing Hawk T1 is finished in one of the iconic Red Arrows liveries with the included decal set.
It is our hope that as you enjoy the Freewing 70mm Hawk T1, you will spread the love of flight and of this venerable aircraft’s contributions to aviation history.

I love this plane everything I will come from motion rc very nice product
70mm BAE Hawk
The plane went together well with no problems until I went to install the upgraded suspension main gear. I watched the video and it looked simple. Except the factory did not strip the grub screws securing the strut to the retracts in the video. Both of my main struts had one grub screw totally stripped out making it impossible to remove the strut. I had to drill out the defective grub which ruined that side of the pivoting block. To make matters worse, while trying to twist out the strut, it sheared inside the block. I had to dismantle the retract and punch out the rest of the strut. Fortunately, the good side of the block, with it's functioning grub screw, mated with the flat spot on the new suspension strut so I was able to install the new gear. I just hope it holds with only one grub holding it from twisting and falling out.
Great airplane, great service tank you motion rc
Freewing Hawk T1 red arrow
Brought this freewing Hawk T1 (red arrow) as a trainer, have a 90mm freewing f16 that i brought almost a year ago but still haven't flown it, always worried that I'd brought something beyond my capability, flown prop aircraft for the last few years and wanted to try jets. So took the hawk out, knees knocking, I throttled up, at around 40ft I gave it a little elevator and WOW it left the runway with a gentle climb, had the timer set at 5 mins (with a 5000mah 75c lipo) several full throttle flybys (this things quick) it was time to come in, retracts down, full flaps deployed it came down nice and smooth but with a bounce on touch down that started my knees off again, a little throttle with a little elevator and it was down on the ground.. To summarise, this plane took off and flew perfectly but the undercarriage is too solid, I've purchasedthe retract upgrade and now is one of my favourite aircraft (for which I probably have too many). Would recommend this to anyone with a good skill level with props wanting to give edf's a try or as a very stable and fun aircraft for anyone already flying edf's. With a 5000mha 75c battery I'm getting 5min 20 sec a full throttle 90% of the time and almost 11 mins with throttle control.
RAFAT Hawk T1
The Hawk is fantastic. I fly it on a 6S 6000 pack. Assembly was straight forward without any problems. The little junction box can be a bit fiddly but once set up it’s fine. The model looks fabulous in the air and is without any flight issues. Slow flight is good and top end is very stable and accurate. I had a motor issue - however Motion RC replaced this defective item without question. I would certainly recommend this model for the intermediate / advanced pilot. Motion RC customer services are the best. Thank you for a great product and great support.
Freewing BAe Hawk
Awesome jet. Easy to build and easy to fly. Excellent quality. Only complaint is the decals were applied haphazardly; Don't try to reafix them as pulling back on the tape removes the paint underneath.
Motor is low quality, Hawk flies great
Very sad. After only 5 flights the motor stopped working in the air and I could not deadstick it because of a strong tailwind and stall in turning. The motor is really poor quality as there are many other complains. It is really sad because the hawk flies great and look nice.
