Dynam BF-109 1270mm (50") Wingspan - PNP
Dynam BF-109 1270mm (50") Wingspan - PNP - DY8951PNP
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was a German World War II fighter aircraft designed by Willy Messerschmitt and Robert Lusser during the early to mid-1930s. It was one of the first truly modern fighters of the era, including such features as all-metal monocoque construction, a closed canopy, a retractable landing gear, and was powered by a liquid-cooled, inverted-V12 aero engine. The Bf 109 was the most produced fighter aircraft in history, with a total of 33,984 airframes produced from 1936 up to April 1945. More aerial kills were made with the Bf 109 than any other aircraft of World War II. Dynam's BF-109 PNP is virtually ready for those ambitious sorties! All you need is a 5 channel radio, 5 channel receiver and 4S 14.8V 2200 mAh Li-Po battery and you're ready for those Allied fighters!

Bf 109, good buy or not
Well constructed aircraft, easy to assemble and a joy to fly. Well worth the money!
Dynam BF 109 build
I recently purchased the BF 109 and must say besides 2 issues which MotionRc took care of immediately and sent parts asap there was no prob with the plane. Great looks and quality was better than ever, almost finished and then a flite review thanks MotionRc for a super fast delivery on plane and parts. Next plane on list is Hawker Tempest then the F-22 90mm raptor and a few more, addicted to R/C planes.
I recently bought this and got it last week. Over the weekend I assembled it, the instructions were terrible but I got it put together easily. Today I had my first flight with Dynam's BF109...Well it didn't work out too well. As usual I test all controls, flaps, elevator, rudder, etc, all worked perfectly. So I eased the throttle up and had a nice take off. At that moment, the plane went into an uncontrollable loop. It went straight up and looped back down then up again and repeated a few times. I tried using the elevator but it would not make a difference. Interestingly, the throttle speed did more to control the constant loops, so I eased the throttle slowly as it was coming back down and tried to do a fast belly land. The fuselage broke in three pieces, the wings fell in four pieces, canopy in in three and needless to say, the blades and motor were shot. My only guess is the motor was installed in an upright angle, I never had this happen before so now I am wary of Dynam products. It was a mess of a messerschmitt...
Fantastic aircraft! She is nimble, maneuverable, and handles both High and low rates very well. While flying she looks real, some missing details are only apparent when she is on the ground...where she shouldn't be! I can **** nearly 14 minutes of flight if I'm being careful and 10 if I'm really gunning the throttle. Stalls can be tricky but are generally nice and smooth. She handles wind up to about 8 knots with ease and has no problems going headlong into it. Stunts are easy, and it's fun to practice and pretend there is a YAK behind you and your flying skills are put to the test. I cannot express how good she looks in the air, and how immersive it is to fly such a fine aircraft. BEWARE THE TENDENCY TO NOSE OVER. Just like the real 109, the idea was to stick as large an engine in as small a plane as possible. Thus, she is extremely "nose heavy" on the ground, and when combined with a narrow-track and stiff landing gear, she is incapable of taking off from nearly any surface but hard pavement, which even then she sometimes struggles with. The pilot is a bit small, but is suitable for use, (you cant tell when its in a screaming split-S). Aside for that the guns are mounted too far forward, but they can be cut and re-glued just fine. The only mechanical issue I had with this product was a faulty rudder servo, which Motion RC replaced mere minutes after I sent in a request. The control rods also had to be extended (by twisting, no gear required) so make sure to check the control surfaces when pulling it from the box. Also beware the stiff landing gear is easily bent on hard landings.
I'm very happy with this purchase. Arrived with zero shipping damage and right on time per tracking info. Very nice looking airplane, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is, 1- the instructions are poor to use less at best. 2- the decals should be in German not English. Fix those two things and this kit is a 10+ in my book. I will be buying more.
Good plane but stalls easily on landing
This plane looks good and handles fairly well. It can be twitchy but if you can react fast enough to fix it you should be fine, but when you are going on slow it stalls ******. When you are coming into landing you wanna get a long runway so it can touch and roll for a ways so you can keep your throttle up while on final. The other thing is on final make it longer so you can find a slow speed you won't stall out on but can land. I gave it 4 starts because mine was missing the screw set for the tail section, and also for how it stalls.
Great flying airplane
This airplane is a great flyer, you do need to have a big space to fly. However the building manual pictures are black and white and you cant see them very well. And i wish that motion rc would make a video on how to build this airplane.
Poor quality. Poor building manual. Lacking parts and accessories are very disgusting. My last purchase from Dynam!

It arrived in good shape. No damage, packaged tightly. Assembly was fairly quick and every fit together nicely. Once together there was an issue with the motor stuttering. I pulled the ESC to see if the motor was the issue or if the motor was the issue. Motor was the issue. A couple of emails to Motiorc and a motor is coming. Everyone, the people at Motionrc are awesome, helpful, quick response and always looking after the customer. They get a 5 out of 5 for service but Dynam you get a lower grade. Second Dynam plane I bought and both had issues. But overall very nice plane.
