48" Wingspan E-flite P-47 Razorback BNF Basic - Bind-N-Fly (BNF) - EFL8450
At Motion RC the Fly Boys tend to be "Warbird Junkies" and one of the most iconic warbirds is the P-47 Razorback. With it's menacing nose and stout outline the P-47 was all business and this new offering from E-flite is no different.
This gorgeous 1.2m replica of the Razorback P-47D perfectly captures the power and presence of this one-of-a-kind warbird. And because it comes equipped with an AS3X® receiver that features optional SAFE® Select technology, pilots of almost any skill level will find it's as much fun to fly as it is to look at.
The model comes out of the box with functional flaps and electric retracts already installed for you. Details on the landing gear struts and wheels add to the realism.
The expertly applied trim scheme is that of a P-47 that flew with the 510th Sq., 405th Fighter Group during World War II. It is complemented by molded panel lines and machine gun details as well as engine details in the nose.
You also get an assortment of payloads you can attach to mounting stations under the wings and fuselage. These include 2 bombs, 2 rocket pods and a centerline drop tank. All snap into place and can be attached or removed in seconds, no tools or glue required.
This high-output motor system delivers thrilling speed and climb performance when matched with a 2200mAh 3S 11.1V 30C LiPo battery(sold separately). The efficient 4-blade prop also serves as one of the model's realistic scale details.
This BNF comes with an AS3X receiver so even if you are newer to warbirds the technology is there to help assist you if you need it with features such as self-leveling and angle limits. No programming is required. All you do is change up the binding sequence as directed in the manual.
If you don't want or need the SAFE® Select features, simply bind the receiver normally and it will function like a standard AS3X® receiver. You can even fine-tune its AS3X® settings if you have the Spektrum programming interface and a compatible programming cable (both available separately).

This plane goes together easy. It’s a really nice looking model with lots of detail. Quality is excellent as most Eflite’s are. It flies as good as it looks! Not squirrelly, stable, and take off’s/landings are easy and straight forward. It has a wide flight envelope and is great doing low fast passes down the runway. A Admiral 4s 3600 mah lipo fits perfect and no balancing weight needed. On the build, don’t forget to install the carbon fiber spar in the horizontal stabilizers. You will have a great time with this warbird!
This was my first Warbird, but not my first low wing plane, and it flies different. Great, but different. Be prepared for that. Flew on rails, right out of the box, with a 3S 2200, after a few flights, it required a little manually adjusted down elevator. Other than that, great flying plane, requires a little throttle in the turns, more than I was used to, so I cracked a wing, first time out. Easily repaired, as it’s a very sturdy aircraft. Very well built, battery tray is great, and very roomy, with a sturdy wood base, tail wheel is very sturdy. I’m still pretty new at this, so I still use the “safe select” option, had a little difficulty getting it to assign to a switch. I also only run a DX6E, 6 channel radio, so I’m order to use “safe”, I had to run both flaps and gear to the same channel. I connected then both to the receiver using a y harness. Gear extends at full flaps, and goes up at no flaps, which still leaves me half flaps, to play with during flight. Great looking plane during scale flying, yet very acrobatic as well.
This is one awesome plane flies right off the board it reminds me of my old senior Falcon by Carl Goldberg. The first good flying plane I ever owned the light wing loading allows low time pilots to fly a warbird with confidence if you get a little slow on final it wags ist wings to let you know hey I need a little throttle with a minimum of help from an experienced pilots you will look like a pro I can't get over this new technology that is so affordable thank you e- flight and motion rc
Beautiful. Did have some issues
The model is really nice looking. I had a very hard time getting the wing ******* on. The screws took a long time and were very difficult to get to match up. Of course being foam it’s very hard to hold the plane secure without damaging the foam. I had the same problem on the tail. One screw didn’t want to secure all the way and I ended up getting imprints on the foam trying to hold it. Very disappointing to have skin damage right out of the gate. The plane seems to fly well. I did have a few batteries that met the requirements not work well on the airplane. The ESC kept cutting out the power plant. The batteries worked fine in other models I think this one just required more amperage.
E-flite P-47 Razorback BNF Basic 1.2m
this little war bird is a joy to fly. but not as much as doing business with motion r/c you guys rock thanks ....
Crashed the first one, on purpose. It got out the other side of the trees and I lost site of it, crashed to avoid hurting someone. Got a new one and really love the way it fly's. The 1.2 size fits well in truck, car etc aerobatics , launch off grass or dirt road, landings with flaps are great. Very well behaved aircraft.
Great looking and flies even better
Love this model.. Flies and looks bigger than a 1200mm plane..I installed a bigger speed controller to run the 2500+ 4 cell batteries. No need for nose weight with the larger battery. Easiest model ever to assemble...
great plane, steady flyer.
Yea really into scale flight and this bird fits the build. Easily built and trimmed good right out of the box. Great warbird with very little stall characteristics and super slow flight with flaps. So solid. Couldn't be happier. Motion rc awesome as always. Shout out to pilot Ryan and captain mike. Two thumbs up.
