Title: Customer Service Manager
Hours: Full-Time
Location: Any state / United States 
Payrate: Commensurate with CS Management experience  

Motion RC is seeking an experienced RC enthusiast to join its high performing Customer Service organization in a leadership position. This fun and fast paced job will include the following primary responsibilities:

  • Implementing and enforcing Policies and Procedures to optimize our customer service capabilities
  • Managing our nationwide team of technicians to maximize our customers’ satisfaction
  • Regularly reviewing the performance and production of each customer service technician
  • Reporting to Management for performance analysis and to strategize improvements
  • Helping customers troubleshoot and solve technical issues via phone and email
  • Giving advice and product recommendations to beginners and advanced hobbyists alike
  • Taking customer orders over the telephone
  • Engaging customers via our on-line chat system
  • Becoming an expert on all products delivered by Motion RC
  • Cultivating a positive and motivating atmosphere among the customer service team

Candidates must meet the following qualifications in order to be considered for this role:

  • 6-10 Years RC airplane and/or helicopter experience, Electric format preferred
  • Excellent English oral and written skills
  • Embody a “Customer First” mentality
  • Calm and patient - able to interact professionally with customers even under pressure
  • Proficient with PC applications including web browser, email, and instant messaging
  • Managerial experience for at least 2-5 years of at least 5-10 persons 
  • Initiative to lead by example, inspire others, delegate effectively, and work proactively
  • Absolute honesty, integrity, friendliness, flexibility, and enthusiasm are required at all times

Title: Product Manager - RC Helicopters

Motion RC is seeking a model helicopter expert to join its product management team. This exciting new position will have a significant role in shaping Motion RC’s rotary wing product development and marketing strategy. 

The core responsibilities of this position will include:

Candidates must meet the following qualifications in order to be considered for this role:

  • 7+ years of model helicopter building and flying experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of product development or product marketing experience. 
  • Must understand the mechanics, use and specifications of every components of an electric RC helicopter.
  • Have the ability to specify the correct power (motor, ESC, etc.) and flight control (servo, flybarless controller, etc.) components for any size scale helicopter.
  • Excellent English oral and written skills.
  • Ability to work independently or with limited support.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to set and achieve milestones for key project deliverables.
  • Previous overseas vendor management experience is a huge plus.

Title: Warehouse Associate
Hours: Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm
Location: Lake Barrington, IL 
Payrate: Variable based on experience 

Motion RC is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate for its Lake Barrington, IL distribution center. Join one of the fastest growing companies in the Radio Controlled (RC) Products Industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Quickly and accurately select products to fulfill computerized customer orders
  • Ensure customer order matches picked products
  • Visually inspect products for damage
  • Pack products carefully to protect against shipping damage
  • Utilize computer based shipping software to weigh packages, select lowest shipping rate, and generate shipping labels.
  • Receive daily shipments and check-in products into Inventory Management System
  • Maintain a clean work area

Requirements:

  • Experience with Radio Controlled products, especially RC planes
  • Basic PC computer skills
  • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English
  • Must have strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work efficiently and follow direction
  • Flexible to a wide range of tasks
  • High School Diploma
