The Grumman F6F Hellcat was a carrier-based fighter aircraft designed to replace the earlier F4F Wildcat in United States Navy (USN) service. The Hellcat competed with the faster Vought F4U Corsair for use as a carrier based fighter. However, the Corsair had significant issues with carrier landings which the Hellcat did not, allowing the Hellcat to become the Navy's dominant fighter in the second part of World War II, a position the Hellcat did not relinquish. The Corsair instead was primarily deployed to great effect in land-based use by the U.S. Marine Corps.
We are happy to bring the Dynam F6F to customers bringing yet more warbirds from a manufacturer known for finding that rare blend of economy and quality. Left landing gear broke on first landing. Controller that came with the plane was slightly used. Can’t seem to get it into the air, controls might be messed up. The screws that go into the flaps and ailerons have already started to come lose, and I had to glue them down.
Beautiful plane. Nice finish. Excellent dealer. Very high quality.
Everything was good when I received this beautifull warbird except the 6 channel controller that looks as horrible as my Ikarus Rc flight controller. Nothing else to write, just build it and flight it.
Plane detail = great, pre-assembly was the issue. 1 The retractable landing gear, the right one has a pin that hits the securing screw so did not re-track. Had to shave down the pin. 2, the ailerons had one servo not placed proper, so both ailerons went either up together or down together.( got a reversible Y cable to solve that) 3, The flaps did go opposite of each other. Thought maybe the controls could be reversed, but that could not be changed to work. Once again reversible Y cable. 4, radio was glitch was also an issue. Switched out with a 8 channel spectrum. Would have been better to get the PNP version. Instructions were not as detailed as needed.
Dynam Hellcat RTF MODEL
I believe that this Hellcat RTF is an excellent flying model and looks even better out of the box. It is easy to see how the engineering for it came together. the size of the wing span is large enough to make it a quickly turning plane. I would recommend it throughout these summer months.
Dynam Hellcat RTF MODEL
this is a beautiful airplane for the money. I have always wanted this model because of its stature in WW2. Naval planes are some of the best subjects to encounter. I don't think I could build one from scratch. the artistic endeavor is superb. the two tone paint really makes this plane stand out in all the planes for sale in the foam line. Flying it will be no less of an accomplishment.
Bad transmitter good plane
Transmitter has dead spots in gimble but flew plane with trans from my b26. Plane flys great too bad faulty transmitter had to ruin a good experience
Plane great radio was broke
Plane is great but radio was broken out of box lost signal
