Dynam P-51D Mustang V2 1200mm (47") Wingspan - PNP
Dynam P-51D Mustang V2 1200mm (47") Wingspan - PNP - DY8939PNP
This is the new and improved version (V2) of the Dynam P-51D Mustang PNP and it stands ready to show her supremacy and is virtually ready for those Axis bandits! This new version now includes a Tomcat Skylord 30 Amp ESC with a XT60 connector, pre-installed flaps, pre-installed flap servos, LED lights with pre-soldered connector ends and LED light controller for static and flashing operations. All you need is a 5 channel radio, 5 channel receiver and 3S 11.1V 2200 mAh Li-Po battery and you're ready take to the skies!
The flight times of this Dynam Mustang are a bit longer than average. While power is not massive there is plenty of power for scale loops, rolls, and immelmann turns. We actually really like this Dynam P-51D for its ability to wring out more and more minutes from the 3S 2200.

I doint know how you can rate this plane as any good first off all the control horns are made of plastic and why testing all the control all of them broke so had to switch all to nylon due not evan try to fly this plane befor you due this also the wing screws doint evan line up could not get a single one to line up pilot looks like came out of a jet surpose to be three blade prop and spinner got 4 blade prop and spinner doint know if that's a bidg deal are not need 7 chanel if warnt lights to work are due with out flaps which where already hooked up so went for 7 chanel to get the lights decales doint evan look like the ones shown on plans are on box no invasion stripes on wing so I would think twice befor buying this have not got to fly it yet carse still making repairs out of the box

i installed the a3lv2/3 gyro in this plane like one other persone wrote this baby flys like its on railes , its fun to fly and looks great. very easy to assemble and every thing works great, i fly on 3 cell pack and timer set for 6 minutes, gyro set at 35 percent it works well in all conditions thanks all the people at motion rc you people are great
This plane is awesome. I put a gyro reciever in it, and it flies like it is on rails. A real treat to fly, and at this price how could it get any better? The only cons I could find was it's a little underpowered with the three cell battery pack, however it will finish any maneuver without petering out in low to moderate winds. And the silver paint sucks it comes off with just the touch of you hand, and gets smeared all over everything. However the flight characteristics of this plane is so great you'll find these issues are minor at best. I would highly recommend it as A first war bird.
Bought about a month ago. Still have not flown this plane. Waste of money.
Only my second RC plane and 1st warbird
This plane is a blast! I would have crashed it by now without the gyro assist on the receiver. It makes landings soo much easier. Couple of things to consider. People say you can put a 4s battery on here as long as you cut vents for cooling...not true. I fried my esc in a few seconds with a 4s battery. Maybe it was just a bad esc?? Anyway I have a 50amp esc now and it flies great. Now Im not a great pilot yet so Ive had some rough landings(had to bend them back a few times) and 1 landing gear actually turns now so maybe not the most durable but I can still fly it despite the wheel turning direction. These planes have such light wing loading that I even threw a 3000mah 4s in it and it handles it no problem after carving some extra space out. Its alot of fun so if you are new to warbirds give this one a shot. Its alot of **** for the buck. I might order another pnp just use my 1st for spare parts. Like so many have said these wheels need more forward angle on them to prevent prop drags.
P-51 Mustang V2 PNP
Bought a new Dynam receiver and already had a Daynem transmitter. When I bounded/ sync to receiver everything worked except for the motor. I had one just like this one and as I remember correctly I had trouble with it as well I would not recommend the purchase of this aircraft. Very disappointed!
Dynam P51 Mustang
Received mine as a birthday Gift, added in the flaps, and have since taken them back out, Plane flies great and slows nicely with out the flaps, Great work Dynam and Motion Rc, Keep up the great work, I would also like to one day add the Dynam T-28 Trogen (red & white) to my collection of warbirds..
This plane is a lot of fun, and pretty sturdy!
I actually bought this to do a "fly-over" for my neighborhood's 4th of July parade. It was a hit! I am not the best pilot, so I have crashed it into 4 trees, and have stalled out 3 times resulting in spectacular crashes. I am actually amazed at how well it has held up. I have bent the collet adapter twice now (apparently you are not supposed to land it on the nose?!), and one crash cracked the body in half, but a bit of superglue fixed it right up. I think one of my issues is that it needs a bit of speed to fly well, and I kept reducing speed which resulted in unexpected outcomes. I just installed the flaps to see if I can learn to manage slower speeds with that. Should be fun!
Great P-51 for the money
Guy's this plane is a blast if you want a great scale flying P-51. This is a great flying and tough plane. On probably my 5th or 6th flight I made a major pilot error and lost orientation of it in the sun and planted it in the farmers field next door and watched it cartwheel a few times. When I got to the crash scene it was all intact and had only pulled a couple of wing bold mounts loose and got dirty but no real damage other that gluing the wing mounts back in. The only thing I had a problem with from the factory was the non scale 3 blade prop and spinner were way out of balance and it almost sounded like a gas plane. I balanced them and have no problems there now.... other than it's a 3 blade prop and spinner. (Dynam please make a 4 blade upgrade prop and spinner) I raked my landing gear forward because it likes to nose over the way they are from the factory and moved my Admiral 2200 as far back as the cockpit/battery hatch would allow which also helped. There is also a flat place in the middle of the fuselage perfect for a gyro receiver. I am sold on Lemon-RX gyro receivers so that's what I used but any will do. I also found an extra set of scale looking wheels from my smaller sized FMS P-40B and they fit perfectly and look scale. I probably have 75 or more flights on it now and fly it every chance I get.
