I bought this over a month ago but was delayed getting it built. When I had some spare time I started to unpack it from the well packaged box and all looked fine, however the right wing had been damaged with the tip hanging off and the flap half detached. A quick email to RC Motion support had not one but a new pack of ****** wings here within a couple of days! I could have bought the P47 cheaper locally but this is exactly why I did, and will buy again from these guys. Anyway, back to the plane... I already have a Dynam Hellcat so I thought I was up to speed with their products. As has been mentioned by previous owners, the instructions are farcical. If you haven’t already built a couple of foam kits I’d give this one a miss. I also had to buy another Y lead for the flaps as there was one missing or not supplied. Fitting the wings on my particular model didn’t go well. Only two of the mounting holes lined up but perseverance and some swearing got them in. The rest went together fairly well considering the poor manual. Due to the weather I wasn’t able to maiden it until a few days ago so I held off on the review as it reads fairly negatively. I was therefore quite surprised when it took off and is a joy to fly. One minor adjustment to the elevator and reduce the throws of the aileron and it flies like a true warbird. Plenty of power yet it can fly very serenely and looks great. I recommend the clear hinge tape that RC sent me to go over the flap hinges as they seem fragile. I think this may be the last Dynam for me and I’ll be trying a FlightLine models next!
Easy to put together despite the ridiculous so called instructions, that were incorrect in a lot of areas, and just plain incomplete. Thank God they got the CG right! Now that we are done with the bad, and ****. The plane flew beautifully very predictable. I found the ailerons a bit twitchy on high rates might need to crank up the expo. Even though they seemed to have good authority on mid rates. For the price I think the scale looks are awesome. Can't wait to get my stabalization in her so wind won't be an issue.
Dynam models are a good platform to create one off flying aircraft. motion RC always does a good job of supporting their products and are always willing to help with questions and or shipping is superior. the aircraft flys very well
I bought the plane last week and i was suprised unboxing the plane that the flaps was already install by the factory and also there was and a led controller that means that the lights are fully operational.I install a receiver with AS3X from previous model and today i had my maiden flight .My opinion is that the plane flies in railways and is completly rock solid in the Air!!!! I can highy recomanded to anyone loves scale flying ....this plane worth every single euro! Also thanks the people from motion rc for their good service!
Very nice plane, easy to assemble, very easy to fly...very predictable.
The best looking warbird i ever had.I will add rockets and bombs as soon as i find so that will fit my dynam p47-d thunderbolt!
This aircraft is great from ordering, receiving, delivery and assembly to flying, easy to handle and very forgiving, worth every penny.. I even painted mine a different color
Fast delivery. Well packaged. Electronics all worked. Cycled retracts several times. No issues.. Slight marring on horizontal stabilizer. 4 stars, because I haven't flown it yet. If it flys as well as it looks... all is good..
This is my first warbird and actually one of the first low wing planes that I've flown. I have the V1 with no flaps, but love this plane. I've done some basic aerobatics with no problem. I've had a couple of days of flying it and plan on many more soon to come. I would highly recommend this plane to anyone. The build is super easy with no problem. It's everything Pilot Ryan has said in the video. She is a gentle Giant. Good Luck!
