Built between 1937 and 1947 by Piper Aircraft, the original plane was designed to be a tandem seat trainer, but the plane was so easy to fly, it became one of the most popular planes for general civil aviation.

Dynam Piper J3 Cub
I bought this Piper J3 Cub for a friend to teach him how to fly RC planes. Right now he is learning how to fly RC planes on a good RC flight simulator. All my RC planes are too fast, and too powerful for a beginner. Dynam Planes are great and are easily modified. Motion RC is a great company!
Dynam J3 Cub with Gyro RTF
Once we got the details of the purchase squared away the Cub went together well and flies great. It is very stable and easy to fly.
Dynam Piper J3 Cub 1200mm RTF
Great price everything included RTF! Plane was delivered on time and in excellent condition. Thanks much Motionrc! I wanted a beefier landing gear and wheels. I ordered the landing gear from the Dynam Devil 3D 1015mm and Dave Brown 2.50 in wheels x .75 in wide for 1/8 in axle. I brought the wheels because of the great reviews I read here! They are wheels you want on your planes! I found longer screws for the wheel axles and for mounting the landing gear at a local hardware store. I did have a problem with the wing mounts. I had to remove the plastic wing mounts and move 1/4 " and added longer screws. A little cutting, drilling for wider screws, and glue and I was all set. This was a problem from the manufacturer, no fault of Motionrc! I also purchased hinge tape from Motionrc and used it on this plane before first flight, a must for all planes. Over all the plane was an easy build I am waiting for clear weather to fly!
