E-flite Carbon-Z Cessna 150 2125mm (83") Wingspan - PNP
83" Wingspan E-flite Carbon-Z Cessna 150 - Plug-N-Play (PNP) with AS3X Flight Stabilization - EFL1475
What revs up the collective engines of the Motion RC Flight Boys? LARGE SCALE model airplanes! Warbirds, jets, civilian...Yes please, may we have another? Well in fact, E-flite is delivering with this classic Cessna 150 with a wingspan of over 2 meters!
The thrill of flying giant scale is unparalleled in the hobby. If it's intimidating to you, don't let it be. For this PNP version you can easily add a gyro for help with stabilization (see Upgrades tab above), so flying the Cessna 150 can be a gentle, low-stress affair.
Officially licensed by Cessna, the E-flite Cessna 150 faithfully reproduces the classic civilian aircraft with details such as a LED navigation lighting system, shock-absorbing oleo nose strut, molded panel lines, fully functional flaps, corrugated control surfaces and wheel pants.
The high wing trainer is a marriage made in R/C heaven when it comes to flight stability. Yet, for those who love a little performance under the hood the Cessna 150 comes with a pre-installed powerful brushless 50-size outrunner motor and 60 Amp brushless ESC. Add in the wide LiPo battery envelope (between 4S and 6S) and you have a model that isn't only inherently stable and low-stress, but ready for performance whenever and however you need it.
Transportation is not a problem with the easy connect wings. No servo leads to mess with. Simply unplug and plug-in the wing at the connectors and all the wing servos and LEDs are ready to go. It really is truly that easy.
Floats and skis are available separately to take this bird from the ground to the water for exhilarating water take offs and landings. So whether from the grass, snow, pavement, lake or pond, the E-flite Cessna 150 is a giant presence with performance from mild to wild!

Great Air Craft flys like a gentle giant fast or slow
Cessna Carbon Z
Bought this beauty when it went on sale recently and shipped to me all the way in Trinidad in the Caribbean. I have to admit I was worried about the shipping as this package was huge, it arrived at my skybox (Florida) in 3 days and then to my house another 3 days after that. Open it up and was blown away by the quality packaging the box had rips and dents but the airplane fuselage and contents were unharmed. MotionRC is a quality shop even got a little hand written thank you on the receipt, will provide an update when I have this beauty in the air.

Great Airplane easy to assemble Flys great slowor fast Lots of power with 6s 5000 Admiral
Fun, Gentle Giant
This plane is a lot of fun, easy to fly and land with plenty of power. The wings are tremendously easy to remove for transport. No tools needed. It's a stable, fun plane to fly but I had to give it 4 stars instead of 5 because the wheels are super noisy and the nose gear mechanism will not stay solid and centered but keeps getting a lot of slop even when re-tightening all the allen nuts with Loctite. Outside of the nose gear and wheels it really is a great plane and I will be eventually turning it into a seaplane with the optional floats.
New E-flite Carbon-Z Cessna 150 (Aerobat?)
This is a High quality, well-engineered model. The fit and finish are excellent. The parts fit together easily. I particularly like the wing attachment and set up system. So easy… It fly's very scale, very similar to the full-scale plane. Power with a 6-cell is very adequate. I am happy to see that some one has finally made a fine scale RC model of the plane that is so dear to my heart. So much for the good points, now for some minor negatives: 1. The paint scheme. The fancy paint scheme is that of a 150 Aerobat. Why does E-flite not call it that rather than just a 150? 2. The silver windows do not look scale. I painted mine dark blue which I think looks much better on this solid foam window model. 3. I also improved its scale looks by painting the black propeller aluminum and the black spinner red to match the universal red on the plane. (They could have included a red spinner instead of black). 4. It would also be nice if softer, more shock adsorbing wheels, were fitted. This is a heavy ship and although a shock absorbing nose gear is included, more low bouncing tires all around would be great These, however, are minor negatives. Overall I think this is a great model and hope that E-flite keeps up the high quality good work in future planes. Norm
