E-flite T-28 Trojan with AS3X 1.2m (48.2") Wingspan - BNF
48.2" Wingspan E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.2m with AS3X Flight Stabilization Technology - Bind-N-Fly (BNF) - EFL8350
Check out this all new 6 channel E-Flite T-28. Yes, this is all new. This is not a modified Parkzone T-28. This is a larger, faster, more scale T-28 with a 100% new design from the ground up. The E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.2m is a full-house park flyer equipped with operational flaps and retracts that is perfect for intermediate pilots. Not only does it have the appeal of a warbird with a realistic radial engine up front and vivid military markings, its design gives it docile flying qualities. Z-Foam™ material keeps the overall weight low and allows scale detail like panel lines to highlight the outline, all while offering a level of airframe durability that’s ideal for everyday flying. But the feature that makes this special warbird something you’ll always want to have at the field is AS3X technology. That’s because the compact Spektrum™AR636A DSMX receiver included features an AS3X system that’s specially tuned to give you the kind of rock-solid flight performance of a model many more times its size and expertly tuned. If you’re one of the thousands who loved the original ParkZone T-28, now is your chance to enjoy the upgrade you always wanted.
Exclusive AS3X Technology
The advanced AS3X (Artificial Stabilization – 3-aXis) system built into the Spektrum™ 6-channel AR636A receiver is what helps give the E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.2m an incredibly solid look and feel in the air. It works behind the scenes to help counter the effects of wind and turbulence by combining 3-axis sensing with specially tuned flight control software. As a result, a warbird like this T-28 is made even better because your workload to fly smoothly is significantly reduced.
The installed main landing gear feature reliable electric retraction with covers over the steel struts that enhance the scale appearance along with the outer gear doors.
Operational flaps give this warbird a significantly greater flight envelope with the ability to takeoff in shorter distances and land more slowly.
15-Size Brushless Power System
The power system features a 15-size outrunner with 850Kv and a 40-amp ESC that when combined with your 2200mAh 3S Li-Po battery delivers outstanding thrust.
Durable Z-Foam™ Material
Durable Z-Foam™ material provides the ability to replicate complex airframe detail with greater accuracy while delivering a very light flying weight.

T-28 with retracts
Love this plane, I have the older version, t-28 4400 series, I’ve yet to build and fly but soon
Performs as expected
All parts arrived in good condition except 1 aileron was dented on the trailing edge due to a foam support in the box having contacted it. Very easy to assemble. I set all throws except the full flaps to factory specs. The flap servos were chattering at full deflection, so I backed it off to about 86% (still slows to a crawl for slow fly by's). Landing gear work flawlessly, but the tires are rather hard. I fly off of black top and the plane vibrates excessively during taxi and take off. I replaced the wheels with Dubro low bounce wheels, what a difference on taxi and landings. If you go this route, you will have to shave the flat off of 1 side of the wheel hub to give the "E" ring enough room to snap onto the axle. If you fly off pavement, it's well worth the investment. I also added LED's to the wing leading edge for evening orientation during landing. The plane fly's beautifully at the factory CG recommendation. The motor ESC combo are very efficient, and for a 3 cell aircraft of this size, it moves along with plenty of power. Plenty of room in the battery bay for bigger batteries. Rolls, loops, inverted, slow passes with flaps, even a decent knife edge can easily be accomplished with this plane. Being a tricycle set up, it's a great plane for numerous touch and go's to hone in your landing skills. With the ample dihedral in the wings, it is a great first low wing aircraft. When using flaps, keep some throttle going during landing. Great looking plane, its a blast to fly, glad I purchased it.
Planes awesome and tuff. Had a flew rough landings and I flipped it. Hardly a scratch. It’s my first plane and it flies awesome! Landings are my challenge but I have had some good ones. It’s the pilot not the plane. I hear the nose gear bends easy and you have to buy the whole landing gear assembly. It’s one part that needs fixing. Haven’t experienced that yet but that’s what I would recommend
Flies well, plenty of power and all of the goodies. Nose gear is a little weak for grass strips but isnt a problem. MotioRC is incredible, all of my future aircraft will come from them. Thank you.
Best in my hanger
I don’t want to list all of the birds in my hanger, I am a married man. The T 28 is by far the easiest plane to fly. No bad tendency. Boy it looks great in the air. On the maiden it took 3 clicks of right aleron and it was flying hands off. I can’t say enough good about the plane and the guys at Motion RC. Keep up the good work.
1.2m eflite t28
This is hands down my favorite plane I have. I have owned this plane for 2 years and have hundreds of flights on it with zero issues. This is probably one of the greatest rc planes of all time. I also think highly of the carbon t28.
I Love This Plane!
I got this plane for Christmas and honestly, this is the best gift I've ever gotten! I went flying today and there was 10-15 mph wind and this T-28 handled it like a god. The touch and goes were very pretty and soft. In fact, one of my friends who happens to have been flying RC planes for over 40 years told me i was doing great. I highly suggest getting this for your second plane because it's a little too fast to be your first plane. But all in all this is a great plane, get yours now!
