The advanced AS3X (Artificial Stabilization – 3-aXis) system built into the Spektrum™ 6-channel AR636A receiver is what helps give the E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.2m an incredibly solid look and feel in the air. It works behind the scenes to help counter the effects of wind and turbulence by combining 3-axis sensing with specially tuned flight control software. T-28 maiden flight
The bind and fly was pretty simple, however somebody forgot to install an e-clip on the front wheel gear which caused the nose wheel to drop off on take off. Wing installation could be simplified if the servo connections were mount like E-flite does on its similar T-6.
This replaced my FMS and I am much happier with this one. MotionRC is the best RC retailer on the planet! Customer service is unmatched.
E flight T-38 is outstanding.
The T-38 Trojan Is very easy to build and stands out as a superb flying and stable aircraft. Flap deployment requires little or no elevator adjustment providing easy landings. The tricycle landing gear holds up well on grass runways that are 1.5 inches deep . I changed the receiver to Futaba and Deans connectors to fit my batteries. I'm getting 7 minute aerobatic flights using 3200mHa batteries. This warbird is a must for intermediate pilots. Well done E Flight

Performs as expected
All parts arrived in good condition except 1 aileron was dented on the trailing edge due to a foam support in the box having contacted it. Very easy to assemble. I set all throws except the full flaps to factory specs. The flap servos were chattering at full deflection, so I backed it off to about 86% (still slows to a crawl for slow fly by's). Landing gear work flawlessly, but the tires are rather hard. I fly off of black top and the plane vibrates excessively during taxi and take off. I replaced the wheels with Dubro low bounce wheels, what a difference on taxi and landings. If you go this route, you will have to shave the flat off of 1 side of the wheel hub to give the "E" ring enough room to snap onto the axle. If you fly off pavement, it's well worth the investment. I also added LED's to the wing leading edge for evening orientation during landing. The plane fly's beautifully at the factory CG recommendation. The motor ESC combo are very efficient, and for a 3 cell aircraft of this size, it moves along with plenty of power. Plenty of room in the battery bay for bigger batteries. Rolls, loops, inverted, slow passes with flaps, even a decent knife edge can easily be accomplished with this plane. Being a tricycle set up, it's a great plane for numerous touch and go's to hone in your landing skills. With the ample dihedral in the wings, it is a great first low wing aircraft. When using flaps, keep some throttle going during landing. Great looking plane, its a blast to fly, glad I purchased it.
Planes awesome and tuff. Had a flew rough landings and I flipped it. Hardly a scratch. It’s my first plane and it flies awesome! Landings are my challenge but I have had some good ones. It’s the pilot not the plane. I hear the nose gear bends easy and you have to buy the whole landing gear assembly. It’s one part that needs fixing. Haven’t experienced that yet but that’s what I would recommend
Flies well, plenty of power and all of the goodies. Nose gear is a little weak for grass strips but isnt a problem. MotioRC is incredible, all of my future aircraft will come from them. Thank you.
