Great little plane. Fun to fly. Looks great.
so far so good
Ive been flying about 3 and a half years,. Ive always bought RTF until recently I have moved up to a DX8 so I can start saving on planes. This plane is a great flyer. Looks good, great scale flying. Had it in the air about a dozen times ( its only been a week ) so far, so good. It would be better with more of a nerf tires. Havent been in a wind yet, maybe 5 mph wind but still no issue. This plane flys great low and slow. Only issue I had was I ordered online and bought the battery and charger that was in the same ad as this plane but the charger was incorrect. So I could not fly when it arrived. Called MRC, they said it was not recomemded charger, I asked why the incorrect charger showed up in the profile. Anyway, it was only a cheap charger and would cost as much to ship back so I lost about 15 bucks. I spoke with a rep and he sold me the correct charger. Yeah was disappointing not being able to fly when it arrived but as I said, so far a great plane. I would buy another if MRC would sell me 1 for 100 bucks for the confusion.
Awesome little plane
Bought this yesterday from motion rc. I’m glad I did took out of box today and flew it. The Cessna flew like dream. I love this plane so far can’t wait to get more flights with it. And thanks for Motion with there great customer service.
Nice starter Aircraft
Easy to learn. Will be getting a lot of flying time on this aircraft before I use my other planes.
Bad servo its my second micro from horizon with a bad servo i am not buying anymore micros called motion got the run around but i think its because motions getting to big for its britches
The part that you need is out of stock with the manufacturer currently, we may be able to ship out a full replacement and get the defective one back. A customer service team member will be in contact soon to see what options there are for getting you a model that works correctly.
good for new pilots
Crashed about 3 170-200$ airplanes before taking a break for a couple of years. I decided to give it one more shot and boy, I'm glad i picked this to learn on. I have about 5 hours on it and I am already looking to get my next larger plane from motion RC. I fly mine off baseball Infields and it has no problem. the Safe technology is amazing and I will be putting a gyro in my planes from now on.
Looks real good functions perfect did not fly yet. Sport cub diferent rudder. Controrod had to be shortend. A half inch. Was stuck to left before shortning and had to glue and thread. control rod after shortning

beautiful plane, however the electronics in this plane keep it from doing basic acro maneuvers like inverted flight, tools, loops, etc
Excellent Light Wind Flyer
As usual it arrived lightning fast with no damage. Was easy to program with my DX9 transmitter. Maidened in wind about 3 mph. Two flights. The first 6 minutes 33 seconds with 5 full stop landings and the second 6 minutes 56 seconds with one landing. Powered it with Babbel 330mAh 50 C batteries. Takeoff cell voltage was 4.17V for both flights. Cell voltage on landing was 3.88V for each. My spreadsheet flight duration calculator estimates that the maximum flight time for this airplane flying non-aggressively is a about 14 minutes. My definition of maximum flight time is the time to cause the flight battery cell voltage to discharge to 3.7V cell (about 80% discharged). Energy consumption was about 19 mAh/minute. Spreadsheet calculates flight time to cell storage voltage of 3.8V is about 10 minutes. All aforementioned time estimates are valid for non-aggressive flight. There was no need for transmitter trim. Balance was exactly as published, 39mm back from leading edge of the wing at the root. MotionRC is my favored RC airplane supplier.
