Very Nice little fighter!
I bought this because I always wanted a P-47. It flies very well. It has plenty of power and feels like it is built to be easy to fly. It's super light weight, so wind is not on the menu, but other than that, it is a nice little flyer that I will bring to the field often.
I got this for my Hubby for Christmas. All I can rate this on is delivery(awesome and on time), and appearance of the plane (gorgeous plane and I love the details). It has been way too cold to try it out yet but we're sure it flys wonderful. Thanks again!
Great little plane!! 52 Flights on it so far!! Flies very well in tight spaces and has plenty of power for rolls, loops, Cubans and barrel Rolls!! Flew it fora while with the gear on, then took it off and I love it even more!! Bought during the $80 sale and it was a great deal!! Still a good deal at full Price!! As always Motion RC did a great job with getting it to me quickly!!
Received in very good condition and fast delivery service. Bound to transmitter with no problem. Waiting for better weather for maiden flight. Very nice detail and markings on plane.
UMX P -47
Awesome Airplane! Probably one of the best UMX planes I've flown. Also Motion RC's prompt shipping and excellent customer service has made them my exclusive choice for all my RC needs.
Flys great! Great size for flying in the park. They need to make different Warbirds in this size.
Plane who love weight on nose...!
Hi , I'm relatively new in Rc , I have only get in early this last summer. This UMX P 47 is my first tiny plane under 40 inch. My first impression is that's an incredible stable plane. She fly like a rock but add a little weight on nose and reduce elevator deflexion because she have tendency to want to go right up in the stratosphere...so , with an Expo around to 60%, you're right on. The landing gear is strong, but the wing fixation of it , is only glue on place , so, be careful at your landing... And finally the outrunner motor is a must..but, forget the wind up to 5 km H. Good flying..
flew great with a bit of mods
i as many others found the elevator to be placed on the tail with a bit of up incidence. this causes you to fly with much down trim that changes a bit with speed. i found that with a 3s 240ma babble battery pack in the forward spot it made the cg nose hvy and help the elevator trim a bunch. also the power from 3s was much more to my flying style with large loops and nice climb outs. plane does fly well on 2s packs in the forward position but likes higher c rated packs 25c or more and the loops need a bit of a dive to make the top side of a large one. all in all one of my new favorite planes. and fly with gear off in grass or you will only break the plastic gear mounts on the wing off. i think they did well with this one...........and motion is the best source by far.....
