FlightLine RC B-24 Liberator Olive Drab 2000mm (78") Wingspan - PNP
FlightLine RC B-24 Liberator Olive Drab 2000mm (78") Wingspan - PNP - FLW401P
The famed B-24 Liberator is one of the most recognizable WWII aircraft of all time. Serving in every theater of that global conflict, the B-24 fought to bring its brave crews home through unimaginable danger. With humility and reverence, Motion RC is proud to introduce the world’s first foam electric PNP B-24 Liberator, in remembrance of the crews who gave the ultimate sacrifice and those who carry on its memory. The FlightLine RC B-24 Liberator is approximately 1/16.7 scale, with a 2000mm wingspan and 1230mm length, and is constructed from EPO foam and reinforced with integrated aluminum, carbon fiber, plywood, and plastic structures. Designed with input from the Collings Foundation, which operates the only flying B-24-J, “Witchcraft”.
Due to the many configurations of the real B-24, the model features modular design to allow each modeler to customize his/her model further. A magnetic nose section allows owners to quickly swap between B-24 variants, the -D (“Greenhouse” nose), and the -J (“Emerson turret” nose), and the Upper Turret on both variants and the Nose Turret on the -J variant can be panned with an optional 9g servo. Steerable tillers are pre-installed, including special provisions to fit FPV cameras in the nose with minimal modification. An internal wooden spine reinforces the bomb bay area, if a modeler chooses to install operating doors. An all new pilot figure sculpt depicts period accurate A-2 crew jacket, radio headset, and iconic “crusher” cap and insignia. Also for the first time at Motion RC, an optional 3D-Printed Cockpit with complete instrument panel, controls, and seats is also available as a separately purchasable upgrade.
If you have your own 3D printer, or have access to one, you can download the STL files directly at this link. (There are 20 total STL files, formatted for 3D printing included in this .ZIP file). We now offer STL files for the nose gear doors. For the left gear door STL file click here. For the right gear door STL file click here.
Despite its very large size, primary assembly of the entire aircraft is completed with only 12 screws; glue is only required for cosmetic details such as antennas and windows. A quick disconnect ribbon wire harness consolidates wiring into a central circuit board inside the fuselage. Each wing is removable with two screws, making this large aircraft extremely easy to transport.
The FlightLine RC B-24 uses four 3530-860kv brushless outrunner motors, 30A ESCs, 9.5 x 7 counter-rotating propellers, and a separate 5A UBEC. The recommended pair of 4s 14.8v 3000-4000mAh lipo batteries can power the aircraft in excess of 110kph/70mph, for 5-10 minutes based on a pilot’s throttle management. We prefer mid-throttle cruising for 7+ minutes of scale-style flying. The outboard motor pair and inboard motor pair are powered by separate flight batteries, allowing for powered landings in the event of one battery losing a cell. A 70mm tall nose wheel and 85mm tall main wheels provide stable operation on grass runways and split flaps aid in low speed flight and landings.
Each model includes both the -D and -J nose in the box, and includes two decal sets comprising both waterslide and matte vinyl decals. Additional decal sets are available for purchase from our partner, Callie Graphics, at www.callie-graphics.com. A main suspension strut is available as an upgrade for rough runways. With near endless personalization possibilities, the pinnacle of your warbird hangar has arrived -- The FlightLine RC 2000mm B-24 Liberator!

Love this plane, I have both and Callie naturally helped me with some custom graphics. Installed the 3D cockpit, new pilots, nose & top turret gunners and servos for each. Grabs a lot of attention from the crowd.
I broke down and called motion about my flaps. I spoke with Jordan I believe. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. He sent me my replacement parts, and new servoe, almost immediately. I got the parts yesterday and am very happy. My flaps work. I'll try it after Francis goes away. It will be fun.
Might be a liberator
I'll admit. I have two 28's. One of each. It's just that this one has faulty flaps straight out of the box. My other one(silver) fly's like a dream though. I'm going to replace the electronics and see what happens.
I recently purchased the B-24 and didn’t have any regrets at all. Power to spare and a real beauty in the air and on the ground. I do wish there was a ready made servo mount for the top gun mount as there is for front. Thanks for a wonderful aircraft.
I received this plane aheaded of schedule from the pre-order. It went together very easy and everything fit well. One rudder had a slight warp but nothing serious. Unfortunately winter and work didnt let me get out flying for months. 1st flight she was a little tail heavy but not bad. Moved batteries forward and next flight was great, except for the landing. 3rd bounce was a great landing, lol. Landing gear held up fine, no damage. Loads of power, crosswind sent me toward bad side of runway,. Hit the throttle and it rocketed into the sky. Not very scale to say the least, but it saved a bad date with the parked cars. She's all painted up in British night bomber colours.
wow nice plan
I'm the only club member with a 4 engine plane. I have members ask to fly the B-24 silver, Kentucky Belle. This plan fly's very nice. I fly off grass, so the big wheels are a big help. There are over 12 takeoffs and landings. Putting the plane together was easy. All holes lined up and ******* in nice. All wires plugged in nice. I give 2 thumbs up to the people that make the B-24.
Love the plane but replacement parts are very hard to get alwAys out of stock
B24 Build and Fight Review
Build: The B24 build (silver version) was without major construction problems. All went well, except the wing bolts were difficult to seat within the wing-tabs thus requiring some modification. One of the wiring harnesses was missing and one of the main-retracts did not retract the gear. I contacted Motion and they took care of the missing and defective parts. I performed all of the setup procedures and decided to install an A-3 Eagle Gyro. Flying: Using 1/2 flaps, the first flight was uneventful; Do not firewall the takeoff you need to gently accelerate until the airplane lifts-off. Make sure you have the up elevator trim as specified in the manual. A few more clicks of up elevator were required to fly straight and level. No other trim was necessary. There is more than enough power to fly the airplane at ½ throttle. Scale-like flying is certainly possible but, if you are inclined you can loop and roll the aircraft and also fly inverted. The landings on grass were very predictable, with or without the Gyro engaged. I used both ½ flaps and full flaps for landing and did not note much difference between the two. Bottomline, the airplane flies well and looks impressive in the air. My only reservation with this plane is will a 4 engine, 7+ pound, foam-aircraft holdup over-time. I will update this review after I get more flights on it.
