Plane will not fly to heavy and under powered.
Received my Glider sooner than I expected and was very pleased.
awsome plane for the money!
FMS is top of the line, good quality electronics.
FMS Moa. What a great looking plane. I might even try to fly it some day.
I really enjoy flying this model; my only suggestion to the designers is to forgo the scale proportions and add a few more square inches of side-surface area to the vertical stabilizer and rudder. The model tends to be directionally unstable (fishtailing) in turbulent conditions. OK during calm winds.
Easy to put together, I changed the color of the plane to camo with US marks. Flew it once, need adjust the flight surfaces. But it flys nice. Need to add the servo throws in the instructions.
Had the Mao before, knew
Had the Mao before, knew it was a great plane.
fms makes a good product, components fit well, easy assembly, sturdy, and flies nicely. i put it up in 15 mph wind, cut the power and soar until my neck hurts! plus, motion rc is very good to do business with. completely satisfied
Improved flying performance with radio
I bought this bird a couple of years ago and it wasn't much fun to fly so I put it on the shelf. The 2 main gripes were ballooning at full throttle and falling off a wing on the turns. But recently with my Spektrum 6 channel radio I thought I'd try a couple of mixes to see if I could improve the flight characteristics of this otherwise cool looking plane in the air. Mix 1 I incorporated a little down elevator(15%) with full throttle which really reduced the straight up ballooning and as you reduce the throttle the down elevator also reduces which is really nice. When the throttle is off the elevator goes back to neutral and whatever your trim is set at. Mix 2 I added a little coordinated rudder to my ailerons so the plane is less apt to fall off in a turn. I know some of you guys out there can do this manually but I would rather let the radio do it. More reliable! Now this plane flies so nice and it's so much more fun on a calm or windy day. It's like a new airplane.
