FMS Servoless E-Retract for 1400mm Planes
FMS Designed Servoless E-Retract - FMMRE003
Includes one FMS designed servoless electronic retract. Designed for use on the FMS 1400mm P-51B and P-51D warbirds.
NOTE: These retracts open and close at half the speed of the stock retracts so they require this 6 second sequencer (click here) when used on an FMS P-51.

Ordered as a replacement for one I crunched. delivered quickly. Installed easily. have not flown with it yet, but bench tests shows it functions as advertised
mustang 1450mm retract
when the retract showed up ,i thought it was the wrong one, it was so much stronger looking ,but it fit, and works perfectly .. easy to install,,i think i need another on for the other side,,,,the usual first class service..thanks .djn
Sorry your retract failed right away sent it back to show you
The P-51 1450 mm is to heavy for such flimsy retracts. One ground loop landing and they're stripped. All landings must be stellar!
The plastic is not strong enough keeps breaking. Need to switch over to aluminum stronger and still light weight.
FMS landing gear VERY weak
Don't buy FMS retracts--they are junk! They will not last 3 decent landings without the forks in the aluminum base block breaking off or stripping the screwworm device. I gave up and bought "flawless" Turing all metal gear for $33. Customer reviews are outstanding. SORRY FMS, you are pushing a really bad, weak product and "apparently" a lot of folks at FMS and Motion know the landing gear for the 1400-1600mm FMS series is just junk.
Great gear servo. Fast shipping.
I made two landings before one of the aluminum arms broke, so the gear will be weak. No real way to fix it and a replacement is a pricey $29. Nice looking, but it has to be strong and functional---these don't appear to hold up at all.
