THIS CHANGE WAS OUTSTANDING!
as before I did the mod to my me-262. changed out the 70mm edf's with 12 blade to 80mm edf's with 6 blade. flies around the same speed as the 70's but at half throttle. have 5 flights with this setup. and now I changed out the 6 blade for 12 blade fans. combined, getting close to 12 lbs of thrust for a 5.5 lbs plane. first flight will be soon with the 12 blade fans. need to check the speed with radar.
2050 Kv Motor
Just put in the new 2050Kv motor in my F8. It was a difference as I flew with several others. Most notable in the vertical.

I ordered 2 of these and did the mod. To my dynam me-262 A 3 1/4" hole saw worked good. Running two 85 amp esc from tunigy. And two 5s 4000 60c battery's. going out today for first flight. This will be fun!

The first two Reviews was for the 12 blade power edition inrunner and not for this 6 blade Standard versions outrunner w/3525-2050kv Motor. The Freewing 80mm 6-Blade EDF 6S Power System w/ 3525-2050kV Motor runs 63amps only.
A significant power increase
I replaced the outrunner fans on my F-14 for a pair of these. Wow, what a difference in power! I went from 75A to 98A and my takeoffs are now much less stressful. Nothing is free so be aware of the weight penalty you're going to take. Thankfully the F-14 handled the extra weight like a champ and flies great. Note however that even though they are "factory balanced" you might want to have them dynamically balanced. They do produce a nice whoosh sound but the out-of-balance caused that Dustbuster whine until I had them balanced.
For the money nothing can touch this combo.
This is a great upgrade for your 80mm jet. Nite and day performance increase when taking off and when you wanna just nail it. Top speed is increased as well although this is up for debate depending who you talk to. Inrunners are inherently more efficient then outrunners when it comes to their use in EDF applications. While they are a little heavier they more than make up for it in increased acceleration and this combo that HET and Freewing put together is no different. They come perfectly balanced throughout the entire throttle range from Motion and are literally plug-n-play. If your staying 6s, this is the best way to go without considerably increasing amperage. Numbers I get while installed in my F-86 with a freshly charged Roaring Top 6s 45c 4500mah are: 82 amps settled WOT 1877 watts You will need at least a 90A esc but I'd recommend 100A just to be sure. Running the static tests I've seen this unit peak at 93 amps. Got another coming in for the Mirage which I have yet to maiden but I can already see her breaking 120mph like its nothing. Motion you guys are the best in the biz and this affordable upgrade is a huge reason why.
