Good retrak for the price
Since I am putting this in a Corsair that the retract is not necessarily met for it's hard to judge. However it is functioning as expected and holding up well thus far considering the way it is mounted is stressing the mount plate a bit.
once again great service. received
once again great service. received the item quicker than expected. just ordered 90mm F-18.
Works but should be stronger
This retract performes as advertised but the design is horrible. If i had any input into this product i wpuld recommend having the main stress point made of metal and not ******* together brittle plastic. If the retract was the same metal as the fms p-40 rotating retract this would be a home run.
I chose these retracts instead of the E-Flite's because they were less expensive and were rated for the same weight. I modified the mounting holes and added a metal plate on either side so they would fit in the PZ F-4U1A. I aded struts from HK (Alloy Oleo Strut Set with Anti-Rotation Link and Wheels 3mm Pin (Trike)), reoved the wheels and used the F-4U1A wheels. Looks more to scale than the wire struts.
