Purchased this EDF to power my JePe F/A-18C which is very similar in size to the Freewing version. This 12 blade EDF appears to be very quiet and smooth compared to cheaper outrunners. I can zoom around at 40-50% throttle, get longer flying times and still go ****** fast. The extra oomph this EDF delivers helps to take off with ease from our bumpy grass airfield. I’m buying another one for my next plane, an F-16. Highly recommended and worth the extra money over an ourunner!
No instructions at all , for this 2 items.According to danish law ,-all items shal have a instruction in DANISH .
More power, less energy consumption, longer flight times, better sound !!! I have compared with different EDF from freewing and other brands. Freewing 130A is totally sufficient. Use timing high for additional power and more rpm
This was to be an upgrade for a 90mm F-16. I selected this because its the same brand as the original one but the wiring leads do not reach as far due to its construction. While the leads themselves are the same length (about 4"), they exit the motor in different locations affecting how far they will reach around to the ESC. The original EDF had the leads exiting from the side, needing only a 90* turn towards the ESC. On this one, they exit from the rear and need to turn 180*. This causes the leads to be almost 2" too short for a drop in replacement. This led to some foam carving and ESC relocation. Not the end of the world, but something you need to be aware of before ordering.
Con Super Scorpio. 6200ma = 3 minutos just !. Regulator 150mA.
Put it in my FA-18 Blue Angles jet which had average power with the stock fan. This jet fly's 100% better. Great fan for the money.
This unit provides considerably more thrust than the stock unit in my Eurofighter while still having a reasonable current draw. It is heavy, however. and quite expensive.
I've put this in my F22, much more powerful than the original EDF.
