Smooth power

Good enough for general fly, not for speed run

Fan of the fan!

This review and the review for the 748-1450kV Brushless Outrunner Motor are one in the same. I love it! I replaced the stock 6 blade fan and motor in my 90mm F/A-18E with this combination and it makes a big difference. Much quieter. There is no high pitched whine type sound, but a more turbine like sound. A good deal more power too. Several club members who are turbine jockeys were surprised at the difference it made on performance and again, they commented on the turbine like sound. The only issue I had was the tailcone piece is attached with set screws that use friction to hold the tailcone to 4 flanges jutting off the back side of the fan. I torqued one too hard and it broke the ****** off. I rotated it 90 degrees and was a little more careful the second time around.
