I’ve used Futaba gear for over 30 years. Never had any failures. A little pricey but then when you have big airplanes it’s worth it.

Never had a signal loss or glitch with these receivers. Futaba does a great job!
overwhelmingly great radio
Coming back to RC from long break, all I can say is - unbelievable progress in technology! This radio is going to keep you smile forever. Learning curve is steady, but long which is a great thing. I'm glad I made a 12ision to get 14 channel version, no way I'll be limited in flying multi-copters, planes or gliders. Great price form MRC, fast delivery, made me a frequent shopper here. :-)
Have been using the Futaba FASST system for 3 years not one glitch Reciever is expensive.
First flight and it did me proud.
I have been flying my Futaba, 9CAP from 1996. Converted it to 2.4Ghz in 2010 and it's still kicking. Bought a new Futaba 7 channel, FASST receiver and put it into a new plane. First flight took the plane some distance away, as I was trimming everything. Before I knew it, the plane was about 100 yards away and it was difficult to orientate it properly. I did and flew it back to me. Futaba is a great radio and their FASST system is beyond reproach. You can't go wrong with the FASST system. Dennis Ft. Lauderdale
Futaba R617FS Receiver
I use these in many of my planes with my Futaba T8FG Super transmitter and have never had brown outs or loss of signal extensive enough to cause even a momentary loss of control just be sure to remember to place the two antennas apart from each other and perpendicular in the way they point. i.e. one laying flat/horizontal and the other pointed up/down/vertical.
I have used these for years and never had one fail. These work better in FMS models than Spectrum receivers for some reason and most Starmax models.
I have about seven or eight of these receivers and have yet to have one fail. For the price, it is an excellent receiver.
