MrRCSound V4.1 Amplifier Upgrade
MrRCSound Amplifier Upgrade
Increase the decibel level of your MrRCSound V4.1 system. While the stock sound system includes one speaker and allows connection of a second speaker, this additional amplifier allows you to use two more speakers for use with larger planes. The Amplifier upgrade easily plugs directly into the MrRCSound system and two additional speakers can be connected directly to this amplifier. Remember, the MrRCSound system includes one speaker and one additional speaker can be connected to the MrRCSound system before you need this amplifier. This amplifier allows you can connect 2 more speakers to the MrRCSound system (for a total of 4). If you have an FMS 1700mm plane, it is highly recommended you purchase this amplifier along with 3 additional speakers (the base system can handle 2 speakers and this amplifier handles the other 2 speakers).
Connections and required cables
We recommend using your flight pack to power the MrRCSound additional amplifier. The unit includes a JST power connector and we recommend tapping off your main power connector. If your plane has a T connector, we recommend using one of our "pass through T connectors" with a JST connector tap.
Note** The connector on this amplifier is specific to the MrRCSound 4.1 system and will not work with the MrRCSound ASPIRE sound system

Mr rc sound
very good value for the money
Im going to give it another try!
I wrote the review below saying that i wasn't impressed and I really didn't see any change. Well I played with it a little more only to discover that one of the output channels on the amp isnt working. But im sure that is a fluke and Ill hit up Motion during the weekday to see if they have seen this before. But I got the amp to work on one channel and run a bass speaker with two normal speakers in a 1700 mm plane. Now that I got it working I do like it and do recommend it. the Amp with the bass speaker really helps with the low end husky sound we want to hear when a warbird flies by. Even though I only have 1 channel I can hear the difference using the amp, and for 30 bucks or so I think its worth it.
Three of my planes have 2 speakers (TT-25 normal sound) in them each 2 1700 mm, and a 1400 mm. I keep the speakers in them and just swap the Velcroed sound card around from plane to plane. I bought the amp expecting it to really bring out more volume, but the volume was no different after I added the amp to my 1400 mm plane with two normal speakers. My 1400mm is 84 Db. with or without the Amp. I really thought how could this be? Now if I just use my sound card and a normal TT-25 and an additional Bass TT-25 (total of two speaker) the sound is much quieter maybe 50 Db. So the stock sound card dose not have enough juice to power a normal speaker and a bass speaker, therefor the amp is needed and bring it up to the 84 Db I was getting with just two normal speakers. So if you are using the normal card and 2 normal speaker you will not get any louder volume. (providing I am doing all this right, but I think I am) Over the last past month I have bought the initial sound card set, 5 extra speakers, now the Amp and 2 bass speakers. If I were to buy this all over I would just put 1 normal speaker 1 bass speaker in every plane and just add the amp and save my self a few bucks.
WOW...What a Difference :)
I have 4 of these, and use them in multiple planes I have that already have Mr. RC sound systems installed. Very quick and easy to install and add the ability to have two more speakers to you sound system significantly adding volume and bass if you desire. These work great in adding the new "Bass Traducer Speakers" to your already existing Mr. RC sound system. I typically use two of the TT-25 speakers with this added powering the Bass Transducer. Also works great with the older SPL speakers HIGHLY RERCOMENDED!!! :)
I purchased this for my additional Bass Transducer. I was a little concerned about the added weight, but my fear was gone after I saw my 1700mm plane fly. The added bass is phenomenal! Well worth the purchase.
