This stand comes in handy adjustable and easy to use
This stand works very well make sure to put Vaseline on the rods and in the holes before assembling
Not very sturdy
I have had a couple of these stands and have not been very satisfied. I have found them to break easily and the friction pads stick to model coverings if left in contact too long.
Not very impressed with this.
The sides are extremely hard to adjust, I feel like I'm going to break it everything I need to adjust the length. I had the black pieces of foam adhered to the stand and in heat the adhesive loosens up and they slide. They've also removed some paint from the foam planes where they come in contact with the plane.

Robert Super Stand 3
Works very well. Wish I would have bought one years ago.
It's Just Foam...
Okay, am I the only one that thought this stand was a little more substantial? The pictures make it look like it's made out of plastic, and the supports that contact the plane are attached, and hinged. In fact, it's neither. The stand is simply beer cooler foam, and the tubes are plastic double wall. I initially threw away the feet that contact the plane when I opened the box, I though they were packing material. There are no actual hinges, the feet just sit on the top of the stand. Turn the stand over, and the feet fall off. I put it together per the instructions ("Use Vaseline", WTH?) and it does work okay. Maybe it's my bad for expecting more, but for $28 I thought I was getting a good sturdy stand. Something with adjustment screws, real hinges, and adjustable feet that I could lock into a set position. Not a few dollars of beer cooler foam, and a couple tubes that look like something you'd throw away, when the roll of paper they hold is empty.
Work standing (Robart)
I discovered that putting finger tips (( both hands ))on the raised areas around the where the tubes go through the holes and putting the assembled stand on flat surfaced one can slide the ends much easier to the desired length. I've owned the previous stand for 15yrs before it dry rotted out. Excellent choice.
Great Work Stand
Light, versatile work stand.
Robart Super Stand 2
Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that even though I lubed up the holes for the pipes it was still very difficult to adjust. I ended up using a knife to make the holes just a little bit bigger and it's much easier now. Other than that minor issue this is a must have! I wish I had bought this a long time ago, it makes assembling and repairing planes a lot easier! Also @Dave (previous reviewer) I thought at first that mine didn't come with the foam pads like yours but I took out all the paper packaging from the box and saw that they had slid down to the very bottom and were buried under everything else.
I purchased this product during July 2015. The directions are clear and the stand goes together easily with a slight application of Petroleum Jelly on the tubes. I have only four airplanes currently, ranging in size from Park Flyers to 1450 mm wingspan. Three are low wing and one high. The stand is compatible with all four and seems infinitely adjustable as a workstation. I've now got three of them. One small hiccup. The enclosed parts did not include the four black rubber pads depicted in the instructions. Upon notification, Motion RC instantly forwarded a second unit free of charge. This one also did not contain the pads so it may be possible the product definition has changed. In any event the product functionality is not diminished by the lack of pads. I couldn't be happier with the service and support from Motion RC.
