We clocked the RocHobby Swift at over 90mph on our Pocket Radar while flying with an 11.1V 3S 2200mAh 30C battery. Not only is this plane fast but it also is very well mannered and very aerobatic. Want some vertical to go with the speed? No problem. The RocHobby Swift has unlimited vertical. You will be absolutely amazed at how quickly the Swift will reach extreme altitudes. The wings and fuselage are a single piece of EPO foam with carbon rods molded in for maximum strength and durability. In addition, the nose cone is a magnetic break away design, the servo pushrods are top mounted for maximum protection during belly landing, and there is a skid plate on the bottom to protect the fuse and the rear mounted propeller.
This is by far one of the fastest and most adrenaline pumping planes we have ever flown! The RocHobby Swift is very simple to assemble so you can be in the air in about 30 minutes. Although this plane is capable of extremely fast speed, it is very well mannered and has no bad habits. Hand launching is a breeze, just set to half throttle and throw into the wind. We think FMS really has a winner in the RocHobby Swift. Watch Ryan fly the Swift in the flight demonstration video below. His reactions are priceless and we think yours will be too. This is absolutely one of the most fun and exciting RC planes we have flown lately.

Very quick I like it very much I like to even buy another one thanks again motion RC
No glue required to put the plane together. 3S 2200mah lipo is perfect. Inverted flying is very simple. This plane glids for days. I get about 8 minutes of flight time even flying hard most of the time. Love this plane.
watching the vid, i thought it looked to be wobbling at half throttle, and needs to go faster to be reliable- not the case , it floats around nicely at half throttle, Admiral 2200 3s 45c pro- landed it motor off, deadstick-- most fun ive had in a long time- -id say its a trainer for 90mph flying-- sweet plane
The planes great. Customer service I recieved from Motion RC is what I want to talk about. I ordered the Swift plane as well as a transmitter and receiver from this MotionRC. Upon arrival I tried binding the trans to the reciever only to find the reciever was bad. I sent an email that evening and went to sleep. Woke up the following morning to 4 new emails from MotionRC taking care of business and their customer. They overnighted my reciever to me no questions asked - NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I hate dodgey online companies that question my intellegence and or try to blame a faulty product on their customer. MotionRC had my new reciever in my hand a mear 36 hours after I sent the email, NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!!!! By far the best online customer service I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. MotionRC just earned all my future business!!!!! Thanks for standing behind your products.
The plane flies great and does well both slow and fast. The only problem I encountered was one of the servos failing for no reason. Worth every penny
Half throttle only resulted in crashes for me. I have 2 Multiplex Funjets that I launch almost straight up, full throttle. This works great with the swift, too... up,up, and away like a rocket!!! Only problem I have is seeing if it is right side up, upside down, or what! Doc
I have owned this plane for about 3 years now and never had any issues, just fun. I launch mine at about half throttle and then the fun begins. The fast and low flyby really gets the attention of the other flyers at the field. The plane has a nice screaming sound and moves along very straight and stable. I can do nice looking rolls and loops and I can even get it to stall turn with no rudder. I fly on a 3s 2200mah.
have had trouble with about every esc cutting out....4 or 5 fms esc's so far...going to try a 60 amp soon to see if it resolves the problem...it always turns back on immedately so I can still fly it but at slow flight that could be problematic...see my review below ,,,well worth the money regardless of ESC headaches..
