5 out of 6 have gone bad

Four if these came with the Sbach 1100 bundle, and all 4 originals went bad. Motion replaced 2 before the plane ever flew. 2 more went bad shortly after, and one of the replacements have gone bad. Maybe someone got a good set but I sure didn't. Maybe a particular production run was defective but it doesn't really matter, I'll never buy or recommend a Techone servo again... Ever. The only good thing is the mounting hardware. They come complete with rubber grommets and the little brass inserts. I actually had a crash due to the replaced elevator servo when the gear stripped out in flight. After the plane punched a hole in my fields maintenacne shed, the elevator moved freely up and down, the gears apparently sheared or stripped in flight. Unbelievable! Got harassed for that one. Long story short I replaced all but one with Spektrum A420's (also sold on Amaazon under the E-Flite brand) and never looked back. You can hear the difference in motion. Between the erratic fluttering and soft gear sets these Techones are absolute garbage. Trust me, you want to spend a couple more bucks on the FMS, Spektrums, or even the Hi-Tech 81 series. Pretty much anything will be better than this trash. Good Luck.
