TechOne Air Titan 1600mm (63") Wingspan - PNP
TechOne Air Titan 1600mm (63") Wingspan - PNP - TEC0880003P
The TechOne Air Titan is one of our most versatile and fun to fly RC airplanes. Its large wingspan, high-wing configuration, and durable metal landing gear make it an ideal trainer aircraft for beginner pilots. But this is not just a great trainer, the Air Titan's powerful motor and solid construction means it can handle advanced aerobatics and more aggressive flying techniques. You can even use the Air Titan to tow your favorite glider to high altitudes using the included servo-controlled tow hook. Multiple landing equipment options is another reason why the Air Titan is one of our most popular aircraft. The kit includes large wheels perfect for grass or pavement. If you want to fly off of water, there is an optional float set available with working rudders so you can easily takeoff and land on any pond or lake. And the fun doesn't need to stop in the Winter since TechOne also has an Air Titan snow ski set available. The main wing can also be removed to make it easier to transport the Air Titan. Made of light yet durable EPO foam with a high wing and rugged tri-gear, the Air Titan is tailor-made for anyone wanting a large-size trainer with the versatility to fly on pavement, grass, water or snow.
- Durable EPO and high wing with large camber to increase trainer capabilities
- Rugged and strong tri-gear for added insurance on takeoffs and landings
- Multiple landing equipment option allow you to take-off from pavement, grass, water or snow.
- Servo controlled tow hook allows you to tow your favorite glider with ease
- Snow takeoffs and landings available with snow ski set (not included see spare parts)

One Awesome Airplane!
I purchased this bird a ahile ago but she is still one that I'm proud to own. Just an awesome all around airframe. Docile but able to maneuver like a fighter. Easy to land and great ground handling. Rolls, loops, spins, flys great inverted. I just can't say enough about this bird. She's just above a beginner because of her straight wing but man can she fly. Tech One and Motion put this bird together for the total enjoyment of flight. No bad habits whatsoever! This aurplane will take you to that next level of RC fun you've been striving for. 10 Stars!
TECHONE AIR TITAN 1600MM
Great flying airplane.Shipping was fast and will buy from motionrc again shortly.
Nice stable flier. Hinges, tail wheel are weak.
This is a really nice stable flier and is going to" plane when the wind picks up. Unfortunately the tail wheel bracket broke on first landing on the clubs grass field, so it was replaced with a Sullivan trail wheel system. Flight control hinges weren't all glued well and needed attention.
Would have liked to give it a 5
This is a well built plane with some weight to it. I love the size and it looks great! I would have loved to give this plane a 5. But, I had 2 issues that I believe should not have happened: 1) the control rods were either installed on the wrong sides or they were simply fabricated too long. I had to remove the rudder servo and turn it 180 degrees to get any where close to equal R & L movements on a the rudder. And, with the Z bend ends at the servo and glued in guide tubes, you couldn't simply remove the rods without disassembling the cowling and motor to get them out. There's not much room to work in the receiver/servo area of the fuselage. 2nd, the receiver placement is a bear because, again, it a very tight working space. And, there's the opening in the plywood bulkhead is barely big enough to slide the receiver through - very difficult to get in and anchored down. I love this plane, and will likely buy the lighted version when it's available but just be ready to have to put some time in getting it setup. I'm a structural engineer and I'm impressed with the foam/plywood reinforcements in a very economical, good looking, good flying airplane.
fantastic and lots of fun.
Great plane to fly. Aerobatic and slow flyer all built into one. Very reliable and durable airplane.
Extremely tail heavy. Had to
Extremely tail heavy. Had to add approx. 6 oz. of weight to the motor mount area to have a good center of gravity.
Perfect plane for that quick trip to fly something..and a BLAST it is!
Just got this one in from Motion , which out of the box the tail wheel bracket was broken...its a very fragile piece..MRC immediately sent out a replacement bracket..thankyou! but man oh man, is this a super fun plane to fly... more than enough power for this airframe..I could do torque rolls forever..vertical..no problem! and the sound..I could swear I was flyin a fuel plane..sounded just like one..even better if I can go that far to say. while doin loops and rolls, sounded like I was at an airshow. I had 8 batteries to burn through, but luck would have it, that darn tail wheel broke loose on the 3rd landing..took it up a fourth time anyway..was just havin too much fun with it. it finally snapped off completely on that 4th landing.. definitely need to replace these big foam tires though with some low bounce ones...looks like a basketball on landings lol, even soft ones. no need to worry about spare props on this plane..just spare tail wheels, since that plastic mount is very weak..not much plastic there at the joint. I'll probably fashion a different ,sturdy mount for it tomorrow. Speed..you have plenty...flys slow? thought I was going to park it in the air..aerobatic? **** yeah! flight times I kept to about 5 minutes with my Zippy 3300s, that was full on redneck flyin too..lipos read around 380 at changeout. couldnt fit the 4000 in there, but may if I cut some foam on the sides. but the 3300s was plenty of airtime..so far the only negative I have to say was the tail wheel and bouncy tires...other than that this plane is super fun without any worries of stalling or breaking a landing gear. If your looking for a sporty plane that you can just grab and go to the field ,fly without worry and just have fun with it, then this is a must buy ...I will also mention it was a very easy and gentle plane to land and takeoff , so it does make for a good trainer too.. but it will go beyond what your typical trainer can do...now I just need the floats to try it at the lake!
