Give this a three. The kit did not have a manual. I found one online. Went together ok. Seems solid enough. Not sure how anyone with a three cell lipo could fit it in the battery bay AND put the hatch back on. Just another minor inconvenience. The CG, as stated in the manual and elsewhere in these reviews is wrong. Should be 10 to 15 mm forward. Most importantly is that this model at 5000 asl is woefully underpowered. Either that or I have a weak motor. Once I put a new motor on this I expect it will be a decent airplane to fly. Sorry for the three stars but there were just to many little things.

Three stars for this aircraft. This kit arrived intact without any damage. The kit was, however without instructions. No problem there as I found them online. The popwing went together easily. The center of gravity as listed in the insruction manual appears to be 10 to 15 mm behind what it should be. Took a while to get the cg right because at 5000 feet elevation this plane is sadly under powered. I expect it will fly ok once I put a different motor on. A side from the motor the electronics packs looks to be sufficient. Sorry I could not give this kit a higher mark even at the sale price.

Great packaged model. It’s a good thing I have built one before as the kit did not come with an instruction manual.

Nice plane, easy build.

Not so much a review as a comment. A friend has several and they fly great which is why I decided to buy one. In reading the Overview there is a Tech Note that says some things are not installed, motor, servos etc.. BUT in the Overview under FEATURES it says the motor, servos and ESC ARE pre-installed. While this makes zero difference to me, it should be corrected on the website.

Tech one popwing sport. LOVE IT! :-)

Not bad to build. The best thing about this plane is that it is !!SAFE to hand launch!! and easy to hand launch! I use about 1/2 throttle to hand launch and push it into the air like a Frisbee. I used "Foam Tac" glue to assemble it stay flexible and works GREAT. The second best thing about this RC plane is it flies great once you get the Center of gravity correct! Over time I may up grade the motor and speed controller to get a little more speed, But it is fast enough for now! I like that I can land it in grass! This is my second favorite plane to fly after my Sukhoi su29mm.

CG is wrong in manual

After modifying it to get enough weight forward it flies amazing. Unlimited vertical power, really happy. Motor mount is a little weak, so glue it well. Get spare props. It's a sweet flyer! I'll have videos on my YouTube soon. JohnVH541
