- February 12, 2017 - The TechOne ARF BUNDLE version of this airplane requires intermediate level building skills. Some included components such as servos and motors do not come pre-installed and will need to be installed during the build process. Detailed building instructions are included with each model.

Gods quality, fairly easy to assemble, flies well
Poo performance with the 1,300 ma battery. Good performance with a 1,800 - 2,200 Ma battery.
Flies very well. However the battery that came with it (1,300 Ma 25 C) was not very powerful. In other words, the plane was underpowered with the Admiral Battery which was later found to have a high internal resistance ( 65 M ohm total). I needed to use a 1,800 - 2,200 Ma battery to make the plane fly GOOD - a big difference.
Very fine kit
Should include in list of items needed 2 servo extensions (elevator and rudder) of 12 inches each and a 3inch Y connection for ailerons. Instructions are adequate, but could use improvement on some details. Material is much better than average of most â€œFoamies I've seen)
The fuselage foam was warped or glued on crooked. Plane flies just ok.
a different 3D machine
Motion RC got the box to me in their usual quick pace and assembly was per normal Tech 1 assembly methods. I did not care for the servo arrangement for the elevator as it put the pushrod an offbeat angle. when is Tech one going to supply a Y harness and the servo extensions needed for the flight control servos. The CG printed is wrong balance at 125mm back and its fine. That means just ignore the printed CG put your Admiral 1300 battery in and go fly it's fine. First flights were carried out at higher wind then optimum but performance was surprisingly good for the weight and power available. The top fin makes spins difficult but it can be done and an inverted really slow flat spin is something to see. Of course pattern models that utilize this feature do not have spins in their pattern maneuvers. One major beef is the pushrod swivel attachments specifically the lack of a decent threaded locking screw. As supplied you cannot tighten it or it fails to fulfill the swivel function so it require either CA which will probably migrate up the thread and lock everything tight, or using hot glue to secure the thread and nut together. Also I'd like to have nylon servo arms with the longer arms like their competitors supply. I have seen a few of these fail recently. The complaints are personnel and don't affect the performance of this model and it is fun to fly and can probably make you look better that you normally are. At least it did for me.
loads of fun to fly
easy build, a lot of fun to fly once you trim it out and 12ide which cg to use for your kind of flying. they offer 2 cg's. I love flying this plane. its a great one to begin to learn 3D with which is what I am doing. it is crash resistant. if you land on grass, take your landing gear off before you fly. I ran out of runway at the fly field cuz I was over half it when I brought her down, and when I hit the grass, it tore the landing bracket right out. its all fixed now and is easy to repair too. I recommend this plane highly.
