XK K110 with Gyro 244mm (9.6") Rotor Diameter - FTR (Futaba Transmitter Ready) - WLT-K110B

A leader in mini and micro class RC products since 2011, XK Innovations brings the best of performance and reliability to the smaller side of RC Flight!  The dependable precision of its 6-axis stabilized helicopters rivals the stability of larger and more expensive brands while also delivering class-leading Scale Factor and damage resistance.  Motion RC stocks a full compliment of available spare parts to keep you flying these amazingly affordable RC model helicopters.

The XK K110 is a flybarless 6 channel helicopter which is a great introductory model helicopter for beginners due to its built-in stability system (3D/6G) that supports smooth and stable flights with resistance to crashes.  Here's how the 3D/6G system works:

3D Mode

3D Mode uses the 3-axis gyro stabilization.  In 3D Mode, you can easily perform aerobatic maneuvers such as rolling, inverted flight, hurricane and side flying and much more with the confidence 3-axis stabilization affords you.

6G Mode

6G Mode uses a 6-axis gyro stabilization.  This is the perfect mode for beginners as it provides a very stable platform as you learn and become more confident with the model.

  • USB 1S battery charger so you can charge from your computer if desired and can charge two 1S batteries at once (second battery not included)

Great heli

Great heli performs quite well. One thing I don't like is the battery. It Seems pretty underpowered compared to the 700mah in the k124.

Nice first heli !

Decided to try helicopters -- this is my first. I did practice some on a simulator first, and have flown quads (mostly tiny-whoops), but not a lot --- I am mostly a fixed-wing pilot. In 6G mode, this is a lot like flying a tiny whoop --- easy to hover and good stability, but plenty of maneuverability. I got the FTR version and am flying it with a FrSky X10s with a 4-in-1 iRangeX irx4 module and had no trouble binding or setting it up, and it's nice to have full opentx programmability with this little bird. Easily gets 5+ minute flights on a battery. Pretty durable, though I did manage to break the tail skid on a hard landing (more of a drop, really). As long as you are quick to hit throttle hold when you get in trouble, this will survive a lot of abuse. I set up my normal flight mode to have a throttle curve that is more akin to idle up (nearly flat after first quarter stick of throttle movement), and adjusted pitch cures to give a bit less negative pitch overall. With some expo on the cyclic, you can get away without dual rates if you want, but I found the tail rotor to be dialed down a bit in order to make it easier to make coordinated turns (by default tail response is fairly quick) Outdoors it works nicely, but keep in mind it is a very light copter and will get tossed around if there's any breeze.

Amazing

If you are considering a micro heli, this is the one to get. Rock solid in the air, and tough as nails. Plenty of power to learn 3D basics.

Great

Great Heli, I use it to learn inverted. Had loads of crashes and still not broken anything. I fly it on a Futaba 16SZ.

Great Little Copter

Great little copter. More powerful motor than the K100, and the flight times are around the 8 min. mark when flying in 6G mode. I am not a 3D pilot, but the more powerful motor has to enhance that capability.
