Product Updates:
- November 12, 2018 - Recommended throws for this model are as follows:
Aileron: Low-15mm Mid-20mm High-25mm
Elevator: Low-12mm Mid-16mm High-20mm
Rudder: Low-12mm Mid-16mm High-20mm
Flaps: 25mm and 40mm
You may need some Down Elevator to Flap mix so start at 8% for both settings as it helps to keep the nose from rising. Use Expo all around but use what is comfortable to you. Many start at 25% and make your test flights from there.

The package and manual of this product “may” still reflect the Ready2Fly brand, however, please rest assured you have purchased the proper Freewing product. Unfortunately I lost mine due to it not being able to pull out of a high speed dive, others as well. I plan on getting one again at some point as this jet is just too sweet. If you’re new to jets this will be perfect as it is a breeze to land. Assembly wasn’t too bad but trying to get to the pieces to sit flush while trying to fit the wires in the tiny spaces was a pain. Overall great scale jet for the money

Both problems now sorted but you shouldn’t expect it with a £500 model. However it seems a really nice aircraft, Admiral 4500s very tight fit !! Looks great with my RAF conversion 😁

The right hand main undercarriage would not lower at first, due to the undercarriage legs being stuck to the fuselage by excess paint. One wing would not fit properly (bolt holes would not align) which required a small modification to the fixing tab (file some plastic away) to enable alignment. There were no other issues, so overall, just an 'O.K.' rating for quality

First flight went well, kept the gear out with the 10 degrees of flaps for takeoff and she’s not much of a climber, sorta like the real Venom. Stable and entered the base to final opposite direction from takeoff... lands nice. Second flight was gear up takeoff and she climbs well with the gear up. Second land was a full flap land and I was extremely impressed with how stable the approach was. Just 1/8th power with a slightly nose high attitude and she settled in very nicely, rolled all of about 10’ in the grass.great plane for the money.

My maiden flight was in a crosswind and the plane performed perfectly. Take offs and landings were barely affected. The plane takes off almost instantly and lands nice and slow. The 90mm fan has tons of power. Assembly was quick and easy. Initially mine had a defective retract and LED on the wing tank. Motion provided replacements promptly. This would be a great EDF beginner jet, but even for an experienced jet flyer like myself, it's loads of fun.
