Version Note: This is the 8S version which comes with a 90mm 12 Blade EDF 8S Power System with a 4075-1250kV In-Runner Motor and 150A ESC.
Motion RC has partnered with Freewing to offer you the most highly detailed, scale foam RC jet available on the market - the Yakovlev Yak-130. Designed as a trainer/light attack aircraft and entering into service in 2009, the Yak-130 is the most advanced trainer utilized by the Russian Air Force. In designing this aircraft, Freewing has captured literally every detail of the full-size aircraft from the full painted ordinance to the two-seat cockpit with detailed instrument panels. High end electronics and hardware are abound on this model from the super bright 3W navigation and landing lights to shock absorbing aluminum landing gear to the metal gear servos on every control surface. This 8S version of the Yak-130 is powered by a massive 1250kV motor and Hobbywing 150A ESC, and with its 12 blade fan with metal housing, the Yak sounds every bit as good as it looks. If you typically fly 5 and 6 blade EDF jets, you'll be blown away at the sound this 12 blade EDF produces. While 5 and 6 blade EDF produce a high pitched whining sound, the 12 blade EDF with metal housing produces the "whoosh" and air crushing sound similar to a gas turbine jet. If you are a scale jet flyer looking for top of the line quality and superb detail, the Freewing Yak130 will not disappoint.

some things do not fit together well, holes for putting screws in misaligned with other parts, some wires not connected while others were, having seen many free wing products over the years they still haven't figured it out for quality and as usual their manuals are hard to read
Sie ist ein super Modell in Optick und Flugverhalten. Flige mit 2 x 5800 Acku.
Very impressed and delivered undamaged. Thanks
Delighted with my recent purchase from Motion ,exceptional service and 3 day delivery to Ireland Overall happy with packaging but disappointed with instructions very poor pictures The undercarriage doors are flimsy and weak and broke while in set up I had to add my own mod. To fix But happy none the less She is now ready to fly batteries on the way
Once past the issues l had with the control box the Yak is a superb flyer and sounds great. With their recommended batteries l could just about get a 3 minute flight. Following recommendations on line l changed this to 2 5800 4's batteries and this increased the flight time to a acceptable 4 minutes.
Front retract a bit wobbly but nothing to worry about.
This airplane is one of my favorites to fly and also a crowd pleaser. The only difficult part of the build was getting the multitude of landing gear door covers calibrated and adjusted to properly seat. In flight this airplane both handles and sounds amazing. I fly mine with 2 Zippy Compact 4s 5800 and my flight time is just under 4 minutes. The airplane easily cruises at just above half throttle and is in no way short on available thrust. Other than the fantastic sound and majestic look in the air, the best part is the absolute ease of landing this airplane. I fly off grass and the combination of the outstanding gear and weight makes for perfect landings every time. Flying the 90mm size EDF's makes the 70mm size seem tiny and toyish. The 90mm size behaves so much better in the wind and on approach. I almost forgot the light kit in this airplane is also outstanding. Seeing those nose gear lights blazing while on final approach is awesome! This plane really makes an average pilot look great!
Airplane complete, and in good shape, but Motion RC made a mistake sent me an incorrect battery. The return policy is so complicated and i decided keep the wrong battery and made an extra battery purchase.
Postage was swift, no damage, jet went together perfectly maidened it yesterday, wow this thing has power in abundance and sounds great and flys even better, thanks motion.
