RC Trainer airplanes are the ideal starting point for new pilots. They are specifically designed for first-time flyers, offering maximum controllability and stability to better educate beginners of all ages. We highly recommend beginning with a Beginner/Trainer airplane! Compared to complex Warbirds or fast Jets, Beginner RC aircraft are much easier to build and fly, helping new pilots get into the air as soon as possible with the greatest chance of enjoying a safe flight from start to finish. Some of our Beginner models include damage-resistant features and onboard stabilizers, to minimize the risk of crashes and to maximize your flying fun.

Simplicity and Stability are the hallmarks of our Beginner Airplane collection. It’s important that anyone new to the hobby isn’t initially overwhelmed with complex controls or processes that might discourage them from exploring the fun world of RC flying. To make your first flight enjoyable, our trainer RC aircraft are designed to require minimal assembly and many feature removable landing gear for hand tosses and grass landings, belly lander designs (great for beginners practicing landings on soft surfaces), top-mounted propeller designs to protect against cut fingers or broken propellers, durable EPO foam construction, detailed instruction manuals with included flying tips, Panic Recovery modes on some aircraft that provides instant flight recovery, and even AutoLand functions that assist with landings and require minimal pilot input.

Our collection of Trainer Airplanes comes in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, many of which feature vibrant paint and decal schemes so they’re easy to see in the air.
