We can only comment on these fans being used with Freewing models. We do not have a Freewing Mig 15 in the 70mm size. If you are asking about the 64mm Mig 15, it cannot be used in that.

I bought this EDF unit to replace the fan in a Durafly Vampire but unfortunately the original fan had been glued into the fuselage by the factory or a previous owner so I was unable to fit it. Sorry I cannot answer your question but would have thought that Motion RC would have the technical specification.

You will have to remove about 1/4 inch of material from F9F inside of EDF fit. OD of 70mm EDF=2.755 inches OD of 64mm EDF=2.530 inches. You will have to make allowance for outlet duct as well. ID of 70mm EDF=2.752 inches. ID of 64mm EDF= 2.500 inches. Lots of material to remove. Also be over powered, also weight distribution to consider. Anything can be made to fit anything, Lot of extra work. Want to fly or cause problems???

                    Hello, I put this unit in the Viperjet kit, after some work inside the fuselage. With no wing in place the trust was of 1080grs. for 55A with SLS 4S 2600mAh...read moreHello, I put this unit in the Viperjet kit, after some work inside the fuselage. With no wing in place the trust was of 1080grs. for 55A with SLS 4S 2600mAh and Hobbywing 80A ESC. With the wing in place the trust was so way down that I opened a big air intaker under the wing (120x45mm). Then I got 1040grs. of trust, still 55A on the ground. The weight of the model is 1100grs. with the battery and I must say it flies so well with a lot of trust in the air, and really fabulous "Jet noise". For the launch I mixed 2mm up on the elevator with the power full. After it’s not necessary for normal fly. I get 5mn of flying, with mixed using of the power, with some amazing king size of loops and great high speed passings near the ground. The reason of the 4 stars is that a trust of 1500grs. is annouced on Freewing website, may be in optimals conditions I havn’t. Otherwise the price is really attractive and the EDF unit perfect for my Viperjet thank’s to MotionRC for quick package and sent! Have nice flying with your jets too! Thierry

                    5s cracking performance

                    Bought this edf and done a few projects with it. Currently in a 70mm Yak and runs on 5s. Has more power than the stock 70mm 6s version.
