I just bought the Flightline F4u-1D Corsair and I bought paint stuff for it. Can this air brush do nitty gritty stuff?

Not sure about "nitty gritty" but this is a very basic airbrush. Would recommend testing the airbrush on other surfaces before attempting to apply paint to the model.
