Overview
Focke-Wulf 190A 1780mm (70.1") Wingspan from Black Horse - Balsa Wood ARF - BHM1012-001
The Focke-Wulf FW 190 is a legendary German single-seat, single-engine fighter aircraft that was developed in the late 1930s and played a crucial role during World War II. Alongside the well-known Messerschmitt BF 109, the FW 190 was the cornerstone of the Luftwaffe's Jagdwaffe (Fighter Force). Its powerful twin-row BMW 801 radial engine gave it the ability to carry heavier loads compared to the BF 109, allowing it to serve as a versatile day fighter, fighter-bomber, ground-attack aircraft, and even as a night fighter to some extent.
Experience the power and precision of this legendary aircraft in model scale from Black Horse! Scaled to approximately 1:6 with attention paid to a true to original appearance with favorable flight characteristics. The model can be operated using an electric power system or with an internal combustion engine about 26cc displacement.

I also like to have a 20cc size FW190 as a daily flyer for quick trips to the field . My Phoenix FW190 was demolished last summer so I started looking at the Blackhorse. trouble is with the coupon from tower it was almost $200 more than the Phoenix and I already knew that was a great flyer I was shocked when the Blackhorse arrived from Motion RC .this thing is well worth the cost .first off it’s bigger ,it has better covering and it’s built tougher .I am doing mods to put a NGH30 cc up front .can’t wait to get it in the air .as always I’ll do a video and post the link here soon of my impressions of this one .

The model appears to be well designed and the parts fit well. I did have to do some sanding on the stab saddle to get the stab to slide into place. Everything arrived in good condition. I installed a Zenoah G-26 that I had. It is about 1 3/4# heavier than my RCGF 20cc engine that is probably comparable to the DLE mentioned in the instructions. My finished model weighs 16# according to our bathroom scale. A couple of nit picky items: the kit has flat CA hinges rather than the pin hinges mentioned in the advertising. Also the tail wheel assembly is different (but in my opinion better). The advertising claims a two-piece, plug-in wing. I suppose it could be built that way, even though the instruction manual shows the two halves being glued together. I made mine one-piece. I FOUND MAJOR AMBIGUITY REGARDING THE CENTER OF GRAVITY. The instructions call for it to be 100mm (3-15/16”) behind the wing leading edge. And there is a nice fixture provided that registers on the wing so that one can check the balance by lifting the entire model. But the fixture does not register on the root leading edge; it registers on the leading edge at the kink created why the wheel wells. This spot is over an inch behind the root LE. And the fixture has the CG mark 100mm behind the LE kink. That is quite a difference! I ended up balancing with the nose low using the lifting fixture after running the model’s dimensions through an on-line CG calculator that I trust.
