A hard cross wind landing dinged up the nose gear door on my F-86. A quick order to Motion had the parts on the way and my plane back in the air. The right parts at a good price and quick shipping, can't ask for much more.
FW F-86 Landing Gear Door Set
An almost complete set of landing gear parts, minus the plastic end of the nose gear push rod (would have been 5 stars if this part was included in the package) All is not lost, as this plastic part comes in an 8-pack: https://www.motionrc.com/collections/clevises-and-links/products/freewing-1-5mm-ball-head-buckle-8-pack
High Quality stuff
Exactly like the original parts
Works well…nice to have a good source of parts!
Repaired landing gear doors
Nicely finished and an exact fit to the originals
As good as new
The one main gripe of the F-86 is the poorly attached main landing gear. My first flight off grass ripped them both off. It’s best to pull them out before flight and re-glue them. These were both destroyed when that happened. They fit as good as the originals and there is nothing wrong with them at all
F86 plastic parts
I used just the nose gear door it had the small screw nessary to make it close. Works great
All the needed pieces..
Nice to have replacement parts at a reasonable price for minor damage. Keeps the plane in great shape. Fast delivery. All parts needed included and fit.
missing the pushrod assembly
I usually need just the nose gear doors, since the nose gear tends to take a beating. Parts are fine except the pushrod assy is missing. I've noticed that on a hard landing, the spring will flip off. I use 5 minute epoxy and put a dab of the epoxy on each end on the spring where it clips to the doors. Problem fixed, the spring does not come off. SJ
