F-86 Sabre 64mm V2 EDF Jet from Freewing - PNP - FJ11521P
The legendary F-86 Sabre returns in an all-new V2 design, featuring all new molds and an improved scale appearance. Calling this F-86 a V2 is really an injustice since this jet is all new. This 64mm EDF jet captures the essence of the iconic Korean War fighter, with molded panel lines and a sleek, refined finish with Joseph McConnell’s Beauteous Butch II livery.
Designed for both convenience and performance, the Sabre’s detachable main wing allows for easy transport, while the compact size makes it a perfect toss-and-go flyer. A simple assembly process gets you airborne easily.
Powered by a 2840-2850Kv outrunner motor and a 64mm 12-blade EDF, the F-86 delivers impressive thrust. It’s optimized for common 4S 2200-2600mAh LiPo batteries, with a spring-loaded battery hatch for quick, hassle-free access.
Built from durable EPO foam, this F-86 Sabre V2 is made to last, offering pilots a stunning blend of scale detail, easy handling, and thrilling jet performance.

I kept it in low rates/expo to get a feel for it(70/20). Handles well, has a good speed, sounds great, handles good at slower speeds. Battery time: I had the timer set to 3:00 minutes but with the go arounds, I landed at 4:01 and had 3.76 per cell left in the tank. With the wind, I did keep the throttle heavy so with good throttle management and warmer weather 4-5:00 should be easy. That was using a 2200 mah Admiral pack Cons: Its tail heavy. With the battery all the forward it still wants to climb. This plane could use some nose weight but I’m gonna adjust the elevator to correct. Install a rudder servo! This plane has a spot cut out and ready for a rudder but you have to supply your own servo and control rod/horn. It also has a channel for the wire. I flew in 15mph winds and it took 3 go arounds due to not having rudder control. Trying to correct at low speeds with just ailerons was a little too juicy for my liking. With AS3X+ it would probably do better in the wind. For the price, it’s a good back seat rider for quick flies on your lunch break
