T-28 Trojan Red and White 1770mm (69") Wingspan - ARF from Nexa - NXA1056-001

The North American Aviation T-28 Trojan is a radial-engine military trainer aircraft manufactured by North American Aviation and used by the United States Air Force and United States Navy beginning in the 1950s. Besides its use as a trainer, the T-28 was successfully employed as a counter-insurgency aircraft, primarily during the Vietnam War. It has continued in civilian use as an aerobatics and warbird performer.

This recently developed Nexa T-28 Trojan is now accessible to hobbyists, featuring a large interior hatch to enable convenient access with either electric or gas power. Incredible scale details, including a functioning pilot door, make the T-28 Trojan an optimal selection in any hangar.

Note: This model only includes one pilot, not two as shown in the photos.

Nexa ARF models are constructed out of balsa wood and plywood. These are not foam models. The assembly of balsa wood ARF aircraft requires basic model building skills including the installation of servos, ESC, and motor (or gas engine).

This is a good looking model. There are a few modifications that have to be made to complete the model that make it a "builder's" model.

NICE LOOKING T28

IN THE PROCESS OF BUILDING AS I WRITE THIS, AS WITH ALL OF THE PLANES I HAVE PURCHASED FROM MOTION RC IT WAS PACKAGED VERY WELL, VERY NICE LOOKING PLANE,...read moreIN THE PROCESS OF BUILDING AS I WRITE THIS, AS WITH ALL OF THE PLANES I HAVE PURCHASED FROM MOTION RC IT WAS PACKAGED VERY WELL, VERY NICE LOOKING PLANE, NEED TO BE A LITTLE CAREFUL HANDELING I PICKED UP A WING BY THE TIP AND HEARD A LITTLE CRACKING , MORE MY FAULT SHOULD HAVE PICKED IT UP AT THE FATTER SECTION. AT THIS POINT I HAVE THE WINGS BUILT, HAD TO LENGTHEN THE OPENING FOR THE MINI SERVOS TO FIT FOR THE FLAPS A LITTLE. I FOUND ELECTRIC RETRACTS ON AMAZON THAT ALMOST FIT PERFECTLY, THE MAINS ALL I DID WAS SWITCH OUT THE WHEELS AND ROTATE THE SHAFT ( THE ONES FROM AMAZON WERE ACTUALLY NICER) JUST MAYBE AN 1/8 SMALLER, THE NOSE WHEEL WAS MUCH SMALLER BUT I HAD A FRONT STRUT AND WHEEL FROM THE FREEWING A10 SITTING ON THE SHELF AND IT FIT PERFECTLY ON THE FRONT RETRACT FROM AMAZON , NO MODIFICATION. THE WHOLE PROCESS TO MAKE THESE RETRACTS FROM AMAZON WORK WAS PROBABLY 10 MINUTES. I HAVE THE MAINS INSTALLED AND THEY WORK PERFECTLY , NOSE RETRACT TOMORROW
