I hade to loosen the alan screws and turn...read moreI replaced the nose gear on my Eflite T-28 1.2m with this nose gear. The Freewing nose gear is much sturdier. I hade to loosen the alan screws and turn the gear around to make the knuckle bend in the right direction. I also had to cut the back end of the nose gear area on the fuselage and wing since the Freewing is slightly longer. I also got a cable reverser on Amazon so that it worked the same a the mains. Otherwise, the nose gear is down and the mains are up, and visa versa.

      I bought this to replace the nose gear on my Eflite T-28 1.2m. The existing nose gear was too flimsy and would bend backward. The new gear is much sturdier....read moreI bought this to replace the nose gear on my Eflite T-28 1.2m. The existing nose gear was too flimsy and would bend backward. The new gear is much sturdier. FYI...the new nose gear is a bit longer than the old one, so I had to trim some foam from the fuselage and the wing. I also had to get a reverser cable so that it would raise and lower with the main gear.

      Perfect fit

      Great replacement for my original nose gear. It wasn't an identical replacement but it was a good fit and the difference was minimal.

      80 mm front end.

      Direct in to my T-28 Trojan. No modifying, just bolt right in and maybe a slight trim. By the tire, that's it works great.

      I needed to power the receiver on my Seagull Super Chipmunk (Spektrum AR8360T+), but I didn't want to use the BEC that is internal to my ESC. This airplane already had high...read moreI needed to power the receiver on my Seagull Super Chipmunk (Spektrum AR8360T+), but I didn't want to use the BEC that is internal to my ESC. This airplane already had high wing-loading (34 ounces/square foot), and this UBEC weighs only 51 grams. I could have used a two-cell LiFe battery, but for any decent capacity, the weight would have been 102 grams. I also like that it's super easy to set the output voltage by pressing the button provided (no fancy programming required). I also like that there are two pairs of red and black output wires which provides less resistance between the UBEC and my receiver. So far, I’m a happy camper.

However that comes up easily and safely with an alcohol prep. Double boxed and good packaging. Important: this comes with the wheel well and landing lights. It's not mentioned anywhere in the description, but that's a nice touch that'll save you $80. No need to order the scale detail parts kit. Very pleased about that.

It’s a great flying aircraft, looks are excellent only one problem in my opinion to heavy on nose gear, wheels are too stiff if you are not on the mains at touchdown it will bounce. The new V2 has great detail and you can get it with a gyro if you get the gyro also get the programming module you’re going to need it for self leveling if pre installed
