A-109 Coast Guard 600 Size Helicopter Scale Conversion Kit from Roban - RBN-KF-109CG6

The A109 is a lightweight, twin-engine, eight-seat multi-purpose helicopter built by the Italian manufacturer Leonardo.  The rotorcraft had the distinction of being the first all-Italian helicopter to be mass-produced.  Originally entered service in 1976 and has since been used in various roles, including light transport, medevac, search-and-rescue, and military roles. The A109 has been in continuous production for 40 years.  This is the 600 size A-109 Coast Guard version.

Most of the work is done for you. All wood work is installed. Tricycle retractable landing gear are included.  Pre-drilled holes for easy install of the landing gear.  Standard 600 set up is an 1100 kV brushless outrunner motor, 80-100 amp ESC and a 6S 22.2V 5000 mAh or higher LiPo battery.

This fuselage can be completed in as little as 4-6 hours and is intended for the intermediate to advanced builder.

Features:

  • Fully painted fiberglass scale fuselage
  • Tricycle retractable landing gear
  • Magnetic cabin lock system for quick and easy access
  • Extremely detailed surface and molded panel lines

Important Information - Please Read

Roban Scale Helicopters are intended for modelers who have advanced level building skills. Both ARF and KIT product formats require you to install your own electronics (ESC, servos, motor, etc). KIT product formats also require you to install your own helicopter mechanics. Because helicopter mechanics can vary greatly in size and shape, you may be required to modify the fuselage slightly (including cutting, drilling, etc.) to achieve a perfect fit. Roban fuselages are all handmade from fiberglass and therefore may have slight variation in tolerances between body panels, doors, or windows. These variations do not affect flight performance and can be easily adjusted by an experienced builder with proper tools. These precautions are intended for novice builders; an experienced modeler should have no issue achieving perfect results with these premiere scale helicopters kits.

Just ok

So this fuselage really needs to be fitted with a 600ESP.. Not much else will fit in the 600 class. The retracts are junk. Better off using skids IMO. Also keeping it a 6s machine is hilt recommended. Getting ghe CG right is another challenge. I flew mine on 12s which could be some of the retract prolem. They aren’t very strong and the extra weght stress them. Flip side it flys well when all said and done. The paint was very nice. A good value overall.
