Overview
US Coast Guard HH-60 Jayhawk 700 Size Scale Helicopter ARF (Almost Ready to Fly) from Roban - RBN-SF-HH60-7S
This is the Roban HH-60 Jayhawk 700 size ARF, a premium scale kit that offers unparalleled detail. From tip-to-tail the HH-60 body kit displays an accuracy of detail to the real aircraft not normally seen in the RC helicopter hobby.
This kit comes with a full scale detail cockpit with dashboard, joysticks, rudder pedals, aerials, windshield wipers and more. Floor and ceiling details can be crafted so once the interiors are installed you have an impressively scaled cockpit/interior.
These scale kits house the cockpit in precisely the right location and the mechanics are built into the engine compartment just like in the full scale version. The HH-60 really impresses with the highly detailed and accurately scaled down profile.

Roban Scale Helicopters are intended for modelers who have advanced level building skills. Both ARF and KIT product formats require you to install your own electronics (ESC, servos, motor, etc). KIT product formats also require you to install your own helicopter mechanics. Because helicopter mechanics can vary greatly in size and shape, you may be required to modify the fuselage slightly (including cutting, drilling, etc.) to achieve a perfect fit. Roban fuselages are all handmade from fiberglass and therefore may have slight variation in tolerances between body panels, doors, or windows. These variations do not affect flight performance and can be easily adjusted by an experienced builder with proper tools. These precautions are intended for novice builders; an experienced modeler should have no issue achieving perfect results with these premiere scale helicopters kits.

Let's see if it actually post this time. My Statements are not critical of MotionRC Because a kit is labelled, “expert builder“ doesn’t extrapolate to getting a pass on an outdated, horribly written assembly manual that appears to be a copy from a copy from a copy with a mix match of pictures from clearly different models. Even the online assembly manual is suspect in its clarity This is not what one should expect from a $1800+ kit. Second, some of the hardware sent is wrong. Fortunately I have the experience to build this kit. If you have never built or can not assemble a boom and Pod Heli, you should steer way clear of this model. I suspect all Roban’s kits have this lack of detail in the instructions using “expert assembly“ as an excuse. Am I being over critical? Let's see. 1. Wrong hardware sent to mount front struts(landing gear) to airframe. 2. Nav lights positions (sides) in manual are wrong. 3. Motor mount block not updated to accept a 4 bolt pattern (25mm) 4. Ball links sent with the kit are way to sloppy to use on a 5mm ball. So I have to search for that and purchase. 5. "pre-assembled" tail rotor output shaft bevel gear needed shimmed.(it appeared a poor attempt was made) At this point, the only thing I'm willing to say positive is the packaging is excellent. NOW, with all that said, I have purchased 3 other Roban kits since this purchase. Would I have purchased them if I had known how poorly this kit was packaged together? No. I have already unpacked all three kits for inspection and to be quite honest, I am not sure of the return policy so I will probably spend the next year or two assembling them.
